After 4 years at High school,
Annette is now 17 years old studying as a high school student and preparing for the Board Exams. The School granted study leave to prepare for the board.
Meanwhile Annette searched on the website and listed a set of Medical Colleges for her UG and noted down their cutoff marks and started sincerely preparing for the Board exams.
On the day of the exam,
Annette's mom feeding her daughter, Meanwhile She started revising key concepts mumbling while munching the food, her mom "Either study or eat, if you do both, your food will also won't be able to digest and things you study also won't stay in mind".
Annette with a saddened face "Why are you saying like this mom?, that too on the day of the exam?".
Annette mom "There is still 2 hrs left for your exam to begin, at least finish the food first and you can study right?".
Then Annette completed her breakfast and started packing up the bag "Mom!, I'll go to school and revise it with my friends, pray for me".
Annette's mom prayed for Annette to do well in the exam and left for school.
After a month, Board exams were over.
Then the annual leave begins.
A week after the exam, Annette went for a walk with coco.
Coco waging his tail started to run around her. Annette adores the cuteness of coco started to brush his body "Does Coco want to play today?"
Coco in response starts to wag his tail and bark to agree.
Annette and coco went to the park, she threw a ball and coco caught it and ran over to give it to her to throw again.
Jonah stands behind her with a psychic smirk and plans to scare her "This time the real fun begins".
Jonah wore a ghost costume and came behind and touched her shoulders with a deep voice " Annette!".
She turned around to look in response scared to hell, her vision started to faint, then Jonah started laughing. Annette in response yelled at him" I'm not going to leave this brat today, Jonah! You....!!?, just pray that I don't catch you, otherwise get a reward of broken bones ".
Jonah and Annette were running and chasing to some extent, they got tired. Meanwhile Jonah "I'm done today, peace please !!, please peace!!".
Annette caught her brother, threw her hand to beat him but instead she brought her hand to his ear and started to twist it. Jonah started giggling. Annette Thought to pull his leg in thought.
"You know one thing Jonah, Just don't say this to mom, because she told me not to!!, Mom and Dad brought you from the garbage".
Jonah in shock started to feel sad and tearing up, Annette saw this " ok ok! Don't feel sad!, I was just pulling your leg", started giggling.
Both started to laugh and Annette bought her brother an ice cream to cool him down. Both were enjoying the ice cream.
Jonah "I'm sorry sis!, I was playing with you, I got no one other than you to play".
Annette "No problem little bro!" Tapping his shoulder.
Jonah "So what's your plan after school?".
Annette again in a puzzle state of mind.
Annette "Thought of becoming a doctor or the challenge made with the seniors, already corrupted my mind enough".
Jonah encourages his sister to not get tensed and suggests "why don't you plan this after your results?, it also helps to choose one stable position!!, So just chill".
Both went home, after dinner Annette in her room.
"Have I chosen the correct decision? Ahh... So much confusion", Annette started to murmur herself scratching her head.
"But it's been decided that, I want to become a doctor, because it's my decision, mom said if I'm interested in doing my job, then I will be happy".
After a week ....
There is an announcement of conducting medical counselling at the day of board exam results.
The results will be announced at the end of the week later.
Annette searched about colleges for studying medicine with advanced education.
She learned about a famous medical college in Shimla.
"Victory Medical college and Hospital"
There will be 25 seats for the government quota.
Annette studies about the college and is fascinated by the infrastructure, hostel facilities and hospitalization. There is a park full of roses and a Lily garden with the fragrance of trees and they are surrounded with green grass land. In These grasslands doctors and medical students can do morning meditation and yoga, at the right side of the infrastructure there is a snow mountain with the view of beautiful sun rise in the morning and in the evening there will be a relaxation for patients. They can walk and roam around for their peace of mind. There is also a separate gym for students and doctors to keep healthy and fit.
Now coming to the education, the colleges with digital classrooms, laboratories and hospitals with separate buildings for different contagious and non contagious diseases, every building built for the peaceful environment.
She thought about this admission and was determined to only join here.
On the day of results, Annette went to her school and saw her results in the notice board, she felt very happy about her results, that she is one among the Top 10 rankers.
The school principal congratulated each and every ranker and presented the medals. When he shook hands with Annette and said, " I wish you would succeed, in whatever challenges you face, I will always support you in every situation!!".
Annette thought this "Why is principal sir so specific about the words that remind me of the challenge I made with seniors?,Does He know about the Challenge?", in a confusion state.
The principal asked the top 10 rankers to tell their experience about their hardwork and their dream to become in the future.
Every student said their goal and everyone applauded.
When Annette started her speech " First I thank God for this blessing, I thank the principal sir and every teacher who supported my studies and for my friends, they have helped in my studies."
The principal sir felt slightly sad when he heard "My dream is to become a successful doctor, I hope everyone supports me to achieve this... Thank you", everyone applauded.
Annette saw the principal sir, He faintly smiled and appreciated her.
The principal congratulated each and every student and wished them "All the best students and God bless you all."
Then Annette passed over her classroom and recalled her memories of playing with her friends, when she came beside the corridor, she remembers the challenge she made with senior boys, remembering that made her smile, "I wish I had the same courage as young Annette now".
Then she came to the School Auditorium and walked towards the Dr.Kalpana chawla statue and the locket and she noticed the "Do not touch" sticker pasted on that glass door.
"I was happy when you did that challenge Annette!", a voice from behind shook her and she turned over to find Principal sir standing at the center of the Auditorium.
Annette " So you knew about it Sir!".
Principal " Yes!!, Infact I saw myself 20 years back, when you did that challenge".
Annette "You do?"
Principal sir nodded.
Annette "Did you achieve it?"
Principal "Yes and No".
Annette in confusion.
The principal smiled and came near her asked her to seat at chair "Sometimes life won't go as we wish, even we are so much passionate about it, either in career or in life, but the important thing is whether you trying it or not and above all if you face failure don't ever stress too much about it, this is where the reason I backed off and the only thing I regret about it till now. But instead you learn from the mistake and turn into better you!!".
Annette "I understand sir, Your words really helped me for some confusion war I have been going through right now, I'll keep that in mind".
Principal "You can struggle to understand Now Annette!, But in future it will definitely helps".
Annette thanked the principal and she left.
Annette's parents picked her up and left for medical counselling.
