...

This...

Devero stared at the panel, utterly speechless. He knew Dumbledore would likely have many powerful entries.

Gold entries were expected. There might even be red entries. But he never anticipated that Dumbledore's high-level entries would be so plentiful they could be summarized with an ellipsis!!

The gold entries alone were nearly equal in number to all the gold entries Devero had encountered so far!! Not to mention, the red entries, which he had only seen elsewhere, and Dumbledore had 'two' of them! The purple entries were so numerous they were nearly uncountable!

Truly deserving of being the greatest headmaster in Hogwarts' history. So formidable! Without hesitation, Devero immediately attempted to copy and load Magical Spirit (Red).

He had never copied a red entry that enhanced power like this before! Devero was beyond thrilled.

If Potion Spirit had such an effect previously, then Magical Spirit was bound to be extraordinary!

[Ding!]

[Copy and Load on Cooldown!]

[Cooldown Time: 29 days, 26 hours, 27 minutes]

Huh? The expected physical evolution didn't occur. The entry copy was still on cooldown!!

Devero was on the verge of tears. How could this happen?!

He had exhausted his copy ability on Harry's nearly useless Savior entry, and now he couldn't copy Dumbledore's entry that was right in front of him! Devero's mood sank.

Dumbledore was still lost in nostalgia, unaware of Devero's unusual behavior.

"Oh, as you age, you tend to reflect on the past. Let's discuss you, Devero," Dumbledore said, pulling a scroll of parchment from his sleeve.

"Did you know, Devero, with just the contents of this parchment, you could skip Potions class for all seven years at Hogwarts."

As he spoke, Dumbledore glanced at Snape, who was too gloomy to notice.

"Indeed, based on your performance just now, I'm convinced you could skip my Charms class as well! Though, of course, I'd still love for you to attend," Flitwick chimed in enthusiastically.

"So, Devero, I think the standard curriculum for your year might not be challenging enough for you," Dumbledore said, his expression becoming slightly serious. "I suggest you don't have to attend the Charms and Potions classes scheduled for you!"

"What?" Devero was taken aback by the news.

No classes? No Potions class!

Wow!

That was incredible!!

His joy was palpable, instantly overshadowing the disappointment of failing to copy the red entry. Devero could hardly contain his excitement. But then, Dumbledore's next words felt like a bucket of cold water poured over him.

"However, that doesn't mean you're entirely free from classes," Dumbledore continued. "Instead, you can choose not to attend the courses assigned to you and opt for higher-year classes. After all, Hogwarts is a school." Dumbledore explained kindly.

Devero nodded slightly. Though he felt a bit let down about still having to attend Snape's class, he realized this was indeed better for him.

After all, he was a super genius in Potions and Charms. Taking classes with younger students would hinder his growth.

Studying advanced material with older students was clearly the best choice for now. However, this raised a new question.

"Professor, which year's classes should I take, then?"

As a new student, Devero had no idea about the difficulty or progress of each year's curriculum.

"No need to worry. The two professors will show you their lesson plans, and then you can decide. Let's set it for next week—get settled into campus life first, then choose which year's courses to follow," Dumbledore said warmly.

Professor Flitwick nodded eagerly beside him, adding, "When you come to class tomorrow, I'll give you the lesson plan for this year."

Professor Snape, as usual, said nothing, merely staring at Devero coldly.

Devero felt reassured. Having a week to adjust was nice. He bowed and thanked the two professors.

"Thank you, Professors."

"Anything else, Devero?" Dumbledore asked with a smile, accepting his thanks patiently.

Devero thought for a moment and realized he did have one question.

"Professor, I'm not saying I dislike Slytherin," Devero said, glancing nervously at Snape to cover himself. "I just don't understand why the Sorting Hat placed me in Slytherin, especially without considering my opinion."

At this, all three professors fell silent.

Dumbledore smiled faintly, his blue eyes glancing at the toppled dummies.

"Well, perhaps the Sorting Hat believes you're a natural Slytherin," he said calmly, his tone revealing no emotion, signaling the end of today's test.

Before Devero could inquire further, Dumbledore continued, "Alright, Devero, how about letting Professor Snape take you back to the common room? You must be tired after the train ride and the test. Go rest."

Professor Snape walked to the door, turning back to say, "Follow me," before stepping out.

Though still confused by the headmaster's response, Devero quickly said goodbye to the two professors and hurried after Snape, not dwelling on the question further.

After the door closed, Dumbledore and Flitwick exchanged a glance.

"He's very similar, perhaps even surpassing. This talent is unprecedented," Flitwick said, both nostalgic and astonished as he watched the back of the Charms prodigy.

"Indeed, it's hard to envision a second genius like this, especially in two fields," Dumbledore said, unrolling the parchment in his hand, a glint flashing in his eyes. "His father was merely a magical prodigy, but Devero's talent in Potions as well—it's remarkable. Perhaps we don't need to worry about him too much."

Dumbledore mused thoughtfully.

---

Snape walked briskly, and Devero struggled to keep pace. But at a corner, he suddenly bumped into Snape's leg.

Rubbing his sore nose, Devero looked up to see Snape glaring at him with those dark eyes, sending a chill down his spine.

No way?! Had Snape taken offense to what he'd said to Flitwick earlier? Was he about to get in trouble? Devero's hand instinctively went to his wand.
