Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 Instant Defeat!

Chapter 15

Draco Malfoy, the number one spoiled brat in the original story.

Not exactly evil, but far from a good person.

Hogwarts' top daddy's boy.

Relying on his family's influence, he stirred trouble everywhere.

Early on, he worshipped pure-blood supremacy.

Later, he was repeatedly humbled by Voldemort and Harry.

His character toughened up, becoming resilient and springy.

Only then did he show some human-like tendencies,

letting go of his prejudice against Muggle-born wizards.

But at eleven years old?

No doubt, he was still that insufferable jerk.

"Oh, this time it must be true."

Malfoy's eyes gleamed as he looked at Harry, clearly intrigued.

"The whole train is buzzing, saying Harry Potter's here."

"So, it's you, isn't it?"

Harry squirmed under his gaze, replying stiffly, "Yes."

Devero said nothing.

He knew what was coming.

But he was happy to let this smug guy get a taste of his own medicine, so he didn't intervene.

And honestly, the original story wasn't wrong—Goyle and Crabbe really didn't look quite human.

Probably the ugliest faces Devero had seen since arriving in this world.

"I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. This is Goyle and Crabbe," Malfoy introduced casually.

Hermione frowned slightly, clearly put off by his attitude.

Neville shrank into a corner, clutching his toad tightly, trying not to be noticed.

But Devero saw the poor toad's eyes practically bulging from Neville's grip.

When Ron heard Malfoy's introduction, he couldn't help but snicker.

Malfoy's face darkened instantly.

"What's so funny? Oh, I know."

Malfoy's gaze fixed on Ron, his scowl turning into a sneer.

"I know who you are. Red hair, freckles."

His smirk grew wider.

"The Weasleys, right? My father mentioned you—too many kids, can't even afford to raise them."

Ron's face flushed red, glaring at Malfoy.

But Malfoy clearly wasn't here just to mock him.

"So, Potter, have you noticed? There's a difference between wizarding families. The wrong sort won't help you climb higher, but I can."

With that, Malfoy extended his hand to Harry.

The result was obvious.

Malfoy had already tanked his reputation with the Savior.

Harry completely ignored the outstretched hand.

"Thanks, but I can decide for myself who the wrong sort is."

His tone was as cold as something straight out of a freezer.

Malfoy's expression shifted through several emotions.

Devero nearly laughed out loud watching it.

But whether from anemia or something else, Malfoy's face remained deathly pale.

"Potter, honestly, you've been out of the wizarding world for a long time," Malfoy said in a low, eerie tone.

"So you might not judge things clearly. If I were you, I'd be very careful."

"If you keep hanging around with riffraff like the Weasleys, or Hagrid—"

Malfoy's gaze swept over everyone in the compartment, finally landing on Hermione with clear disgust.

"Or Mudbloods."

The word set off an explosion.

All three boys stood up at once.

Neville dropped his toad to the floor, his timid expression replaced by fury.

Ron's face was nearly as red as his hair, pointing at Malfoy.

"Take that back!"

Harry glared at Malfoy with equal rage.

Only Hermione sat frozen, confused, not yet understanding why everyone was so angry.

"What? You want to fight?" Malfoy sneered, his eyes glinting with provocation.

He was fearless, backed by the hulking Goyle and Crabbe, who looked stronger than all the boys in the compartment combined.

If it came to blows, they weren't afraid.

But at that moment, Malfoy's heart skipped a beat.

He stumbled back a step, clutching his chest.

An inexplicable dread crawled up his spine, as if he were being stalked by a wild beast.

He didn't know why he felt this way, but the pressure was suffocating.

Malfoy looked up in terror.

A red light shot toward him!

"Expelliarmus!" A firm voice rang out.

*Bang!*

Malfoy felt the world spin.

His body slammed into the compartment wall with a groan, unable to get up.

Goyle and Crabbe froze in shock, too scared to move.

Hermione screamed.

Ron was so startled he fell onto the floor.

Malfoy struggled to lift his head, staring in disbelief at the terrifying scene.

He couldn't fathom a peer casting such a spell!

A stranger approached Malfoy, grabbing his collar and yanking him up.

A wand pressed against his chin.

Dark eyes locked onto him, brimming with threat and fury.

"Don't let me hear you say that word again!"

The voice was low and icy.

"Got it?"

The wand jabbed harder into Malfoy's chin.

Malfoy whimpered in pain, tears streaming as he nodded frantically, promising never to say it again.

"Good."

The young wizard slowly lowered his wand.

Malfoy exhaled in relief, already plotting revenge.

"I'll report this to a professor the moment we get off the train! I'll tell my father! I'll get this guy expelled!"

But in that instant, the wizard jabbed Malfoy's stomach.

"Argh!" Malfoy yelped in pain, his body curling involuntarily.

At the same time, the wizard poked Goyle and Crabbe in the same way.

All three felt their bodies lift uncontrollably into the air.

With a sharp wave of the wizard's wand, they were flung several compartments away, crashing onto the floor with a loud *thud*.

The students in the surrounding compartments were stunned, craning their necks to see what caused the commotion.

After all this, Devero slammed the compartment door shut and breathing heavily, he returned to his seat.

He didn't know why, but hearing the word "Mudblood" had made him lose control of his emotions.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he looked up.

The other four were staring at him, dumbfounded
