In the Type-Moon world, the status board of a Heroic Spirit is usually made up of four components:
Parameters, personal skills, class skills, and the most powerful Noble Phantasm.
Parameters consist of Strength, Endurance, Agility, Mana, and Luck, which determine the strengths and weaknesses of a Heroic Spirit.
Personal skills are abilities inherent to the Heroic Spirit, typically powers or talents they possessed during their lifetime.
Noble Phantasms are "crystallized mysteries," powerful armaments created from human imagination. They are the weapons and/or abilities possessed by Heroic Spirits.
As illusions born from humanity, they embody a hero's supreme mysteries as symbols of their existence, drawn from historical facts and anecdotes.
Class skills, on the other hand, are unique to each class.
In the Holy Grail War, there are seven classes: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Berserker, Assassin, and Caster.
Each of these seven classes has its own set of exclusive skills, such as Archer's "Independent Action."
---
"I didn't expect to inherit Archer's class skills as well. Now I can truly say I've inherited all of his powers."
"But with this, even if I level up again, I doubt I'll gain any more abilities."
"But this is enough."
Looking at the numbers written on the paper in his hand, Shirou's heart burned with infinite resolve.
He had fully inherited everything from Archer EMIYA, and with this power, he would bring happiness to Miyu.
Seeing the smile on Shirou's face, Loki, who was standing nearby, grew increasingly irritated.
"So you're so happy that I don't need to update your falna anymore?"
Hearing Loki's resentful voice, Shirou flinched and quickly replied:
"I'm happy only because my strength has increased. It has nothing to do with Independent Action."
"Besides, whether I have this skill or not, whether I need your help to update it or not—you are my Goddess, and I will always be your family!"
Loki's resentment instantly vanished at Shirou's words.
"You're right, we are family!"
Particularly moved by this, Loki felt her gloomy mood suddenly lift.
With a wide smile, she patted Shirou's shoulder repeatedly and said with a grin:
"Shirou, you're famous in Orario now!"
"Huh?"
Confused, Shirou looked at Loki with a puzzled expression, waiting for her to explain.
"That's right. You're always in the dungeon, at the forge, or at the Twilight Manor. No wonder you didn't know."
Loki's smile grew even wider with amusement.
"The thing is, your battle with Goliath was witnessed by adventurers returning from the 18th floor, and now your legend is spreading throughout Orario."
"There are even bards and singers praising your feats. I'd wager your name is already spreading beyond Orario—and even beyond this city!"
Looking at the smug Loki, Shirou finally understood his current situation.
Was he… a celebrity now?
Shirou's eyes gleamed with a trace of excitement, but even more with quiet satisfaction.
He felt as though he had achieved part of his wish.
Seeing Shirou remain calm and unpretentious, without arrogance or pride, Loki felt a wave of deep satisfaction.
What had he gone through to possess such maturity and composure?
That mindset, she thought, was absolutely perfect for dungeon exploration.
Not only was his talent extraordinary, but his mentality was also top-tier.
Perhaps… no—surely—he would surpass the mighty Ottar and rise to the very top of Orario.
This young man was a true hero.
Loki's eyes sparkled brightly as she looked at Shirou's seated figure.
"Shirou, this might sound a little premature, but you must be careful of Freya. She isn't someone you can take lightly."
Although Freya had shown no signs of targeting Shirou, Loki remained cautious.
After all, no one understood Freya's intentions better than her.
The only reason she hadn't acted yet was because it wasn't worth it.
But as Shirou grew stronger, Freya would inevitably start paying more attention to him. Unless another adventurer of equal talent appeared—perhaps even someone from another Familia—but Loki doubted such a person would ever emerge.
Thus, warning Shirou to stay on guard was necessary.
Upon hearing Loki's warning, Shirou instantly understood what she meant.
Freya favored adventurers with radiant souls, often stealing them away from their Familias. Though Shirou didn't know the exact criteria for this radiance, he felt he wasn't in much danger.
Because a certain rabbit was about to arrive in Orario.
Bell—the protagonist of the original story. With him, Shirou was confident Freya wouldn't bother with him too much. After all, the Loki Familia and the Hestia Familia weren't even on the same level.
"Don't worry, Goddess Loki. I'll never abandon the Loki Familia," Shirou said firmly, meeting her concerned gaze.
---
"Shirou, after much consideration, we've decided you will join the next expedition as rear support."
"Yes, I understand!"
Shirou answered seriously, looking at Finn seated before him, with Riveria and Gareth standing on either side.
After updating his falna, Shirou had been summoned by the three leaders and invited to the next expedition.
Currently, the deepest floor the Loki Familia had reached was the 58th, but they had yet to establish a foothold there. This time, the goal was to secure the 58th floor and then advance to the 59th—an uncharted territory the Loki Familia had never reached.
There, with Shirou at Level 3, he couldn't play a frontline role. That was why he was joining as rear support. With his archery skills, he could contribute without engaging directly in combat.
"Don't worry, Shirou. We all recognize your abilities; otherwise, we wouldn't have let you join us."
Understanding Riveria's reassurance, Shirou nodded and replied, "I trust your judgment."
He wasn't worried about adapting to the expedition—his focus was on how to perform better and contribute more to the Familia.
After discussing things with the three leaders for a while longer, Shirou took his leave.
According to Finn's notice, the expedition would begin next week, and in the meantime, Shirou had his own preparations to make.
After all, he wasn't just going there for a stroll before coming back.
He wanted to give it his all.

(End of Chapter)
"Hmph. If you really want to be useful, then entertain me, try to throw those pathetic power stones at me. Let's see if even your insolence can amuse a king."
