A tall armored clad, donning a red cape searches through a run down, snowy village for the treasures of the people who once lived there.
"Hello? Is anybody there?", he hears.
He comes out of one of the houses to check where the noise is from only to see an old mangled villager, who has both legs and an eye missing from his person, stuck under a pile of rubble.
"Sir, may I ask you a favor? Could you please put me out of my misery? There is no hope for me, nor for this village"
He grants him his wish as he unsheathes his executioners sword and decapitates the poor soul.
Ever since the start of the war, the Elder Lands have been in pure chaos, as several cities and villages have been destroyed along with the main empires.
As night approaches, the knight goes out of his way to kill a bear along with ripping out a small tree from its roots to bring it to a small open area in the forest wear he skins and cooks the bear over a fire made from the tree wood. After he finishes, he puts his greatsword in the ground and falls asleep. It isn't until in the middle of the night where the knight wakes up to an odd sight, a cloaked figure, donning a quiver eating some of the bear meat he had left for the next day.
He puts his sword near their neck as he asks them to remove their cloak. They remove their cloak from their body to reveal the blonde beauty that is the dark elf princess, Anas wearing a black leather corset over a black shirt .
"Princess of the Dark Elves, how did you manage to survive such an attack on your homeland?"
"You underestimate our kind, Roman, leader of the Berserkers. I should be asking you the same question. After all, Fordheir failed at protecting his own kingdom and you failed at protecting him"
"Keep my kings name out of your pesterous mouth!", he yells as he prepares to decapitate her, but Anas parries his attack with her dagger but gets kicked in the chest as Roman winds up another flurry of attacks which are mostly blocked until she tries to switch up her grip where she is disarmed and rolls backwards before she could get hurt as she puts up her fists. Roman decides to put down his sword and also get into a fighting stance as he rushes Anas into a tree, delivering a flurry of punches to her body.
Anas finds an opening and strikes him in his throat as she uses her smaller stature compared to him to climb onto his shoulders in attempts to remove his helmet while he is in pain. He tries to get her off, slamming her into the trees, but she manages to remove his red feathered helmet, revealing his brown hair, and a rather scarred face. Anas gets shocked, a killer of her kind is a rather handsome fellow in her eyes.
Before she could react she is hit square in her chest, driving her into another tree as Roman re-equips his helmet as the scar on his left eye glows a slight red as he calls his sword to him with a snap of his fingers.
He prepares to finish her off until she says, "This was a test".
"Well it looks like I have you outmatched"
"No"
