The door opened again, and this time, it wasn't Calla or Ronan.
Two men I didn't recognize stood there, tall and scary. They wore black leather jackets and moved to me slowly.
"Alpha Alexander wants to see you," one of them said, his tone flat.
Ronan gave me a look, before leaving.
The man stepped forward and unlocked the chain from the wall, his eyes cold and unreadable. The clinking sound of the metal falling free sent shivers down my spine.
I rubbed my sore wrist, swallowing hard. My legs felt like they'd forgotten how to work as I stood, my knees shaking.
"Where… where are we going?" I asked, my voice small.
"You'll see."
They led me outside, and I froze the second the door shut behind me.
