MANGA TITLE: Ascension - The Rise of Mortal God

Chapter 1: The Spark That Defied the Heavens

#The outer slums of the world known as Lowveil.#

A cold, dead wind blows through the streets of Lowveil, where no divine blessing has ever reached. The sky remains gray, ash-filled clouds hiding even the sun's light. In a crumbling orphanage at the edge of the city, lives a quiet boy named Lin xian.

He wears a ragged hoodie, his black hair always a mess, and his eyes always tired. Yet in this forgotten place, he is the one who keeps hope alive for the children. A protector. An older brother. A nobody.

But deep inside, something ancient slumbers.

Scene 1: The Divine Falling

It begins with a tremor. A golden light tears through the sky, crashing into the mountains nearby.

People scream. They call it "a divine punishment."

But ling xian is pulled by something he can't explain. His feet move on their own, and before he realizes, he is standing at the edge of a crater—still burning, white-hot with energy.

Inside lies a god.

Or rather, the corpse of one. Pierced by spears of light, chained by divine metal, the dying god whispers with its last breath:

"You... carry the Spark. The Thrones will come for you now... Child of Ruin... Child of Salvation..."

A golden glow bursts into ling xain's chest. His body ignites from within. Pain. Light. Power.

Scene 2: Awakening

Time halts.

The world freezes as ling xian floats in a void between life and death. In this moment, his black hair turns glowing white. His eyes open—radiant, divine blue. Etched markings, glowing in celestial gold, wrap around his arms and chest.

"What... am I becoming...?"

The divine aura rips through reality. The sun pierces the clouds of Lowveil for the first time in centuries.

The gods have noticed.

Scene 3: The First Hunt

Descending from the sky comes a Celestial Hunter, a minor god sent by the Thrones to eliminate the anomaly.

"Human anomaly detected. Divine execution authorized."

The god launches a spear of divine judgment.

Mamon raises his hand instinctively.

The spear bends. Stops. And shatters against an invisible wall. His newly awakened Infinity Aura reflects the attack tenfold.

The Hunter is annihilated instantly.

Silence.

The wind picks up. The air crackles.

"I... did that?"

"I'm... not human anymore."

The chapter ends as ling xain stares at his trembling hands, golden energy still dancing around his body.

In the sky, gods whisper.

"The Spark has awakened. The Mortal King rises. He must be destroyed."
