A few days passed, and the Primus graduation for Lior approached, but more so, the king of Valemont's birthday was just around the corner. Soon, Lior could be seen seated in his room, putting on his boots which the prince had bought for him.
"So, am I going to escort you to the palace?" Sid asked as he stood beside Lior.
"No," Lior responded. He stood up from the bed and walked over to the dressing table, where he collected his jacket from Sid and wore it over his top. He had specially made pants, a top, and a jacket sewn for the occasion — all trimmed with golden lace and black, making him look regal and rich.
He applied some gel into his hair, combed it neatly, then faced Sid, who asked again, "What about you? Are you taking your horse or the carriage?"
Lior paused at that question and said, "Why would you even ask that? Of course, I'm not taking anything, the prince is coming here to take me."
"Ah… I'd forgotten," Sid muttered, then went out of the room, followed by Lior.
