Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Mall Mayhem

Maximus Grandeur and Bianca Angela Stevens strolled hand-in-hand through the bustling mall, enjoying a rare afternoon off from their hectic schedules. The sound of chatter and music filled the air as they window-shopped for designer clothes and jewelry. Maximus, the wealthiest man in the world, couldn't resist buying Bianca anything she wanted. "You deserve the best, my love," he said with a smile. Bianca giggled as he playfully tossed shopping bags into the hands of his security guards. Their happiness was palpable, but short-lived.

Suddenly, screams pierced the air. People ran wildly, panicked, as they stumbled upon a gruesome scene: a mall-goer had been attacked and was now...different. His eyes turned, skin gray, and he lunged at others. "What the...?" Maximus trailed off, shocked. Bianca's eyes widened in horror. "Oh my god, what's happening?" Chaos erupted. Maximus swiftly shielded Bianca, his instincts kicking in. "We need to get out of here, now," he said firmly. The infected multiplied, their moans growing louder. Bianca clung to Maximus as they pushed through the crowds. Security guards formed a barricade, but it wouldn't last. "Sir, we need to fall back!" one of them shouted. Maximus swiftly called his driver to bring the car around. "Get us out of here, Johnson!" he barked into the phone. They sprinted toward the exit, dodging infected and panicked civilians alike. The once peaceful mall had turned into a war zone. As they reached the car, Maximus instructed his driver to head to his mansion – they needed a safe haven and his arsenal. "What's happening, Max?" Bianca asked, her voice steady despite the fear in her eyes. Maximus' jaw clenched. "I don't know, but we'll survive this." The car sped off, leaving the chaos behind. "We need to get to Jihyuk, Mia, Kayli, and Vera," Bianca said, concern etched on her face. "They're probably safe, but we need to make sure," Maximus replied, already dialing his phone. "No answer from any of them," he muttered, worry creeping into his voice. Bianca's grip on his hand tightened. "We'll find them, Max. We always do." The car approached the mansion gates, which swung open automatically. Maximus' team of guards stood ready, armed and alert. "Welcome back, sir," one of them said, as Maximus and Bianca rushed inside. The mansion's security system was already on high alert. "Status report," Maximus demanded. "The outbreak is spreading rapidly, sir. We're on lockdown," his head of security replied. Maximus nodded. "Good. Let's gear up." He led Bianca to his armory, where an array of firearms and gadgets lay at their disposal. "Time to get serious," he said, a fierce glint in his eye. Bianca nodded, her superstar façade giving way to a determined warrior. "I've never shot a gun before," she said, eyeing the firearms. Maximus handed her a pistol. "Now's the time to learn." He showed her the basics, and Bianca proved a quick learner. As they loaded up on weapons, Maximus' phone buzzed – an incoming message from his team. "What's the situation?" he asked, eyes scanning the report. "The drones are getting more aggressive, sir. We're trying to hack into their system," his team member replied. Maximus' expression turned grim. "Drones? What drones?" Bianca asked, concern etched on her face. "Surveillance drones, probably from the government or some corporation. We'll deal with them later," Maximus replied, handing her a rifle. "For now, let's focus on survival." Bianca nodded, determination in her eyes. "Let's do this." With their arsenal at the ready, they set out to rescue their friends and fight for survival in a world gone mad. The undead roamed outside, but Maximus had another concern – the drones hovering above, watching and waiting. "We'll take care of the drones, don't worry," Maximus said, his voice reassuring. Bianca smiled grimly. "I'm not worried, Max. I'm ready.".

As they finished gearing up, Maximus' head of security, Marcus, approached them. "Sir, we've received reports of multiple outbreaks in the city. It's spreading fast," Marcus said, his expression grave. Maximus nodded. "Get the chopper ready. We'll head out to Jihyuk's location first." Bianca nodded, her grip on her rifle tightening. "Let's move." They made their way to the rooftop helipad, where the chopper awaited. As they lifted off, Maximus gazed out at the city below. The streets were chaotic, cars abandoned, and people running for their lives. "This is insane," Bianca breathed, her eyes wide with horror. Maximus' jaw clenched. "We'll stop this, Bianca. I promise." The chopper flew over the city, dodging drones and debris. Maximus' team provided real-time updates on the situation below. "Sir, we're getting reports of a possible safe zone at the downtown stadium. It's heavily guarded," Marcus said over the comms. Maximus considered this. "Make a note of it. We might need it later." As they approached Jihyuk's location, Bianca's anxiety grew. "What if we can't find them?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Maximus took her hand. "We will. We always do." The chopper landed on the rooftop of Jihyuk's building. Maximus and Bianca leapt out, rifles at the ready. They moved swiftly, clearing each room, but Jihyuk was nowhere to be found. "Where is he?" Bianca asked, worry etched on her face. Maximus' expression turned grim. "Let's check the security feeds." They made their way to the security room, where they found footage of Jihyuk being overrun by the infected. "No," Bianca whispered, her eyes welling up with tears. Maximus' jaw clenched. "We'll find the others. We'll make sure they're safe." Suddenly, the chopper's alarm blared. "Incoming drones," the pilot warned. Maximus and Bianca exchanged a look. "Time to test our new toys," Maximus said, a fierce glint in his eye. The drones descended upon them, their missiles locked on. Maximus and Bianca readied themselves for battle. "Let's show them what we're made of," Maximus said, a grin spreading across his face. The battle had begun. Maximus and Bianca stood back-to-back, their rifles firing in unison. The drones exploded around them, but more kept coming. "We need to get out of here, now!" Maximus shouted. The chopper swooped in, and they leapt aboard. As they lifted off, Maximus gazed out at the city. The drones swarmed below, their numbers seemingly endless. "This is just the beginning," Maximus muttered, his eyes narrowing. Bianca's grip on his hand tightened. "We're in this together, Max. Always." The chopper flew off into the unknown, ready to face whatever lay ahead. The war between humans and drones had begun, and Maximus Grandeur was ready to fight.

The chopper landed on the rooftop of a skyscraper, and Maximus and Bianca leapt out, rifles at the ready. As they scanned the area, they spotted Jihyuk Nam, dressed in samurai armor, fighting off a swarm of zombies and drones. His katana sliced through the air, taking down the undead with precision. Maximus and Bianca approached him, their guns blazing as they cleared a path.

"Jihyuk!" Maximus called out, as they reached his side.

Jihyuk turned, his eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity. "Maximus! Bianca! I'm glad you're here."

Maximus nodded, his sniper rifle slung over his shoulder. "We've got Mia, Kayli, and Vera trapped in the Grandeur building. We need to get to them."

Jihyuk's expression turned grim. "Let's move. I've got my samurai gear, but I see you've upgraded your arsenal."

Maximus patted his ammo belt, loaded with 8 magazines for his sniper rifle, and his 2 golden pistols with 5 extra magazines each. "I've got 3 grenades as well, just in case."

Bianca nodded, her rifle at the ready. "I've got 8 magazines for my rifle, and 2 Glocks with 5 extra magazines each. No grenades for me, I'm still getting used to this."

Jihyuk smiled. "You're a natural, Bianca. Let's go."

The three of them set off towards the Grandeur building, a high-rise structure that housed Maximus' entertainment company. As they approached, they could see the zombies swarming around the entrance.

"We need to get to the 2nd floor," Maximus said, his eyes locked on the building. "The music room is where they'll be holding up."

Jihyuk nodded. "I'll take point. My samurai armor will protect me from the zombies."

Bianca nodded, her grip on her rifle tightening. "I'll cover our six. Maximus, can you take out any zombies or drones from a distance?"

Maximus smiled, his sniper rifle at the ready. "That's what I'm here for."

The three of them moved in sync, Jihyuk leading the charge, Maximus providing cover fire, and Bianca watching their backs. They fought their way through the lobby, taking out zombies and drones left and right.

As they reached the stairs, Maximus nodded. "Let's move quietly. We don't know what we'll find on the 2nd floor."

Jihyuk nodded, his katana at the ready. "I'll take point. Bianca, watch our backs. Maximus, you're our eyes in the sky."

The three of them crept up the stairs, their senses on high alert. As they reached the 2nd floor, they could hear faint sounds coming from the music room.

"Mia? Kayli? Vera?" Maximus called out softly.

The sounds stopped, and a faint voice replied, "Maximus? Is that you?"

Maximus smiled, relief washing over him. "It's us. We're here to get you out."

The music room door creaked open, and Mia, Kayli, and Vera peered out, their eyes wide with fear.

"Thank god you're here," Mia breathed, as they rushed out of the room.

Maximus nodded, his eyes scanning the hallway. "We've got to move. The zombies and drones will be on us soon."

Jihyuk nodded. "Let's get out of here. We can regroup and come up with a plan."

The six of them set off down the stairs, their guns at the ready, prepared to face whatever lay ahead. The battle had just begun, and they were ready to fight.

The six of them found themselves trapped in the music room, the helicopter's pilot and Maximus' men having been infected. The sound of groaning and shuffling footsteps echoed outside the door. Maximus quickly assessed the situation and came up with a plan. "Alright, here's what we're going to do. Jihyuk, Bianca, you'll escort the ladies to the ground floor via the balcony. I'll create a diversion."

Jihyuk nodded, his samurai armor gleaming in the dim light. "I'll protect them with my life."

Bianca's eyes locked on Maximus, concern etched on her face. "What about you, Max?"

Maximus smiled, his eyes glinting with determination. "I'll be the bait. I'll distract the zombies and drones while you all escape."

The ladies nodded, though their faces were pale with fear. Jihyuk and Bianca flanked them, ready to provide cover. Maximus handed Bianca a small device. "This is the key to the Roll Royce La Rose Noire Droptail. It's parked nearby. I'll meet you there."

Bianca's eyes widened. "You were going to surprise me with that?"

Maximus smiled. "Later, my love. Now, let's get out of here."

With a nod, Jihyuk and Bianca led the ladies to the balcony. Maximus, meanwhile, turned up the stereo to full volume, the music blasting through the room. He also triggered the music room's alarm system, the loud sirens piercing the air. The zombies and drones outside the door began to stir, drawn by the noise.

As the door started to break, Maximus shouted, "Runnn! Get to the car! I'll meet you there!"

The drones burst into the room, their eyes fixed on Maximus. He smirked, unpinning a grenade and rolling it towards the charging drones. The explosion rocked the room, sending debris flying everywhere.

Maximus didn't hesitate, leaping from the balcony as the room behind him erupted in flames. He landed perfectly on the ground, his momentum absorbed by his knees. "Runnn! I'm right behind you!" he shouted, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.

Bianca's worried face peeked out from behind the car, her eyes locking onto Maximus. "Max! Oh my god!"

Maximus grinned, waving her off. "Keep going! Get in the car!"

The ladies were already piling into the Roll Royce, Jihyuk covering their backs as they escaped. Maximus followed close behind, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of pursuit. The car roared to life, and Bianca's face lit up with relief as Maximus slid into the passenger seat.

"Let's get out of here," Maximus said, his voice low and urgent. "We've got a long way to go."

The Roll Royce La Rose Noire Droptail sped off, leaving the chaos behind. For now, they were safe. But Maximus knew it wouldn't last. The zombies and drones would be relentless, and they needed a plan to survive this apocalypse.

MISSION 1:

As they drove through the desolate streets, Maximus outlined their plan. "Alright, our first mission is to get Bianca's belongings from her place. We'll call it Mission 1. We'll move swiftly, get what we need, and get out."

Bianca nodded, her eyes fixed on the road ahead. "My apartment's not far from here. Let's hope it's still secure."

Maximus nodded, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "We'll be careful. We'll clear the area before we enter."

As they approached Bianca's apartment, Maximus reloaded his sniper rifle and pistols. "Alright, ladies, let's gear up. Mia, Kayli, Vera, pick a weapon each from my box in the back. We'll need all the firepower we can get."

The three ladies nodded, rummaging through the weapon box. Mia picked a shotgun, Kayli chose a submachine gun, and Vera opted for a handgun. They each loaded their chosen weapon, their faces set with determination.

"Alright, let's move," Maximus said, his voice low and commanding. "Bianca, lead the way. We'll follow your instructions."

Bianca nodded, her rifle at the ready. "Let's go. Stay close."

The group moved stealthily towards Bianca's apartment, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. As they entered the building, Maximus took point, his sniper rifle leading the way. They cleared each floor, moving swiftly and silently, until they reached Bianca's apartment.

Bianca unlocked the door, and they slipped inside, their guns still at the ready. The apartment was quiet, the only sound the creaking of the old building.

"Let's move fast," Maximus said, his voice low. "Get what you need, Bianca. We'll cover you."

Bianca nodded, swiftly gathering her belongings. "I've got everything I need. Let's go."

As they prepared to leave, Maximus' phone buzzed. He checked the screen, his expression grim. "It's an update from my team. The drones are getting more aggressive, and the infection is spreading rapidly. We need to move, now."

The group nodded, their faces set with determination. They knew the risks, but they were ready to face them head-on. Mission 1 was complete, but they knew there were many more missions to come.

Jihyuk secured the perimeter, his eyes scanning the streets below. Suddenly, he spotted a swarm of drones rushing towards their location. "Incoming!" he shouted, his voice urgent. "We need to move, now!"

Maximus nodded, swiftly grabbing Bianca's luggage. "Let's go!" he shouted, as they stormed out of the apartment.

The group rushed down the stairs, their footsteps echoing through the building. They piled into the Roll Royce, Bianca's luggage tossed into the trunk. As they sped off, the drones closed in, their buzzing growing louder.

In the backseat, Mia, Kayli, and Vera huffed, relief washing over them. "We did it," Mia said, her voice breathless. "We got Bianca's stuff."

Kayli nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "And we didn't get caught!"

Vera smiled, her handgun still clutched in her hand. "We're a good team."

Jihyuk, sitting beside them, nodded. "We make a decent team, but we can't let our guard down. Not yet."

As they drove to Mia's house, the tension in the car eased slightly. They knew they had a long way to go, but for now, they were safe. Maximus' eyes locked on the road ahead, his mind already planning their next move.

"Next stop, Mia's house," he said, his voice firm. "We'll get your belongings and move on to the next mission."

Mia nodded, her eyes fixed on the road ahead. "Let's do this. I'm ready."

The Roll Royce sped on, its occupants ready for whatever lay ahead. Mission 2 was about to begin, and they were prepared to face whatever challenges came their way.

As they arrived at Mia's house, the scene before them was chaotic. Drones swarmed the streets, their buzzing growing louder by the second. Mia's eyes widened as she gazed out the window, her face paling.

"No...no...no..." she whispered, her voice trembling.

Maximus' grip on the steering wheel tightened. "Mia, we need to be careful. We don't know what's inside."

But Mia was already opening the door, her eyes fixed on her house. Bianca swiftly followed, her rifle at the ready. "Mia, wait!"

Mia rushed towards the house, her feet pounding the pavement. As she reached the front door, she froze, her eyes fixed on something inside.

Her parents, once warm and loving, now stood in the doorway, their eyes vacant, their skin gray. Mia's scream pierced the air as she stumbled backward, her eyes welling up with tears.

Bianca rushed to her side, wrapping her arms around Mia's shaking form. "Mia, I'm so sorry. But we can't stay here. We need to move."

Mia's tears streamed down her face as she gazed at her parents, her heart breaking. But as she looked at Bianca, she saw the determination in her eyes.

"We can't change what's happened, Mia," Bianca said softly. "But we can survive this. We can make it through this together."

Mia's face contorted, her grief and anger warring for dominance. But as she looked at Bianca, she felt a spark of determination ignite within her.

She gritted her teeth, her eyes flashing with resolve. "I'll survive this. I'll make it through."

Bianca's face softened, a small smile playing on her lips. "That's the spirit, Mia. We'll get through this together."

Maximus nodded, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "We need to move. The drones are getting closer."

The group nodded, their faces set with determination. They knew the road ahead would be tough, but they were ready to face it head-on. With a newfound resolve, they set off towards their next destination, ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.

Jihyuk's eyes locked onto Mia's parents, his expression somber. With a swift and merciful motion, he ended their suffering. Mia's gaze lingered on her parents for a moment, her eyes welling up with tears. But she knew it had to be done. She nodded, a small nod, and turned away, her focus shifting to the task at hand.

"Let's get my belongings," she said, her voice steady.

Maximus nodded, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "Vera, Kayli, help Mia pack her things. Bianca, Jihyuk, and I will hold off the drones."

Vera and Kayli nodded, following Mia into the house. They quickly gathered her essential belongings, stuffing them into bags and suitcases.

Meanwhile, Maximus, Bianca, and Jihyuk took positions outside, their guns at the ready. The drones were closing in, their buzzing growing louder.

"We need to move, fast," Maximus said, his eyes locked onto the approaching drones.

Bianca nodded, her rifle firing as she took out a drone. "I've got this side."

Jihyuk stood tall, his samurai armor gleaming in the sunlight. "I'll take the center."

Maximus nodded, his sniper rifle firing with precision. "I'll cover the perimeter."

The three of them worked in tandem, their movements fluid and practiced. The drones swarmed towards them, but they held their ground, taking out the drones one by one.

Inside the house, Mia, Vera, and Kayli worked quickly, gathering as many belongings as they could. "We need to hurry," Vera said, her voice urgent.

Mia nodded, her eyes scanning the room. "I've got everything I need. Let's go."

The three of them rushed out of the house, their bags and suitcases in tow. Maximus, Bianca, and Jihyuk were still holding off the drones, their guns firing in unison.

"Let's move!" Maximus shouted, as the group piled into the Roll Royce.

They sped off, leaving the chaos behind. For now, they were safe. But they knew the road ahead would be fraught with danger, and they needed to stay vigilant.

As they drove towards Kayli's condo unit, Jihyuk took the wheel, his eyes scanning the road ahead. Maximus and Bianca sat beside him, checking their ammo.

"How many mags do we have left?" Bianca asked, her voice low.

Maximus checked his sniper rifle. "I've got 6 mags left. You?"

Bianca checked her rifle. "I've got 5 mags left."

Maximus nodded, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "I've still got 2 grenades left. We'll make them count."

Jihyuk nodded, his eyes fixed on the road. "We'll be at Kayli's condo soon. Let's hope it's quiet."

As they arrived at the condo building, the group exchanged a look. They knew the risks, but they had to get Kayli's belongings.

"Let's move," Maximus said, his voice firm. "Jihyuk, you're with me. We'll clear the area. Bianca, you're with Kayli and Vera. Get Kayli's belongings and meet us at the car."

The group nodded, their faces set with determination. They piled out of the car, their guns at the ready. Jihyuk and Maximus moved swiftly, clearing the area floor by floor.

Meanwhile, Bianca, Kayli, and Vera rushed to Kayli's unit, gathering her essential belongings. "We need to hurry," Bianca said, her voice urgent.

Kayli nodded, her eyes scanning the room. "I've got everything I need. Let's go."

The three of them rushed out of the unit, their bags and suitcases in tow. Jihyuk and Maximus were waiting for them, their guns still at the ready.

"Let's move," Maximus said, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "We've got a long way to go."

The group piled into the car, Jihyuk behind the wheel. As they drove off, the tension was palpable. They knew the road ahead would be fraught with danger, but they were ready to face it head-on.

As they arrived at Vera's condo, Maximus assessed the situation. "Which floor?" he asked Vera.

"The 10th floor," Vera replied, her eyes scanning the building.

Maximus nodded, his mind racing. "Alright, here's the plan. We'll check the elevator first. If it's working, we'll take it. If not, we'll go for the stairs."

Jihyuk nodded, his samurai armor gleaming in the sunlight. "I'll guard the car with Kayli and Mia. We'll keep watch for any unwanted visitors."

Maximus nodded. "Bianca, you're with me and Vera. We'll get her belongings and meet you back here."

Bianca nodded, her rifle at the ready. "Let's move."

The group split up, Jihyuk, Kayli, and Mia taking positions around the car. Maximus, Bianca, and Vera approached the building, their eyes scanning the entrance.

"Let's check the elevator," Maximus said, his voice low.

Vera nodded, her eyes fixed on the elevator display. "It's working...for now."

Maximus nodded. "Alright, let's take it. We'll move quickly."

The three of them stepped into the elevator, their guns at the ready. As the doors closed, Maximus' eyes locked onto the display. They were one step closer to getting Vera's belongings and surviving this apocalypse.

Bianca and Vera slowly assessed the stairs, peering around the corner to see if the coast was clear. They saw loads of drones scattered around the floor, but fortunately, they hadn't noticed them yet.

Maximus signaled to them, his voice low. "Hey girls, we'll use the elevator. It's working."

Bianca and Vera exchanged a look, then nodded. They hopped into the elevator, Maximus joining them.

"Alright, here's the plan," Maximus said, his eyes locked on the display. "When the door opens, I'll protect Vera. Bianca, you'll clear the right corridor. I'll take the left. Vera, you'll rush into your unit and get your things."

Vera nodded, her eyes wide with determination. "Got it."

The elevator stopped on the 10th floor, and the doors slid open. Maximus took position beside Vera, his gun at the ready. Bianca moved to the right, her rifle scanning the corridor.

"Go!" Maximus whispered, as Vera rushed into her unit.

Bianca and Maximus moved swiftly, clearing the corridors and taking out any drones that posed a threat. Vera grabbed her belongings, her movements quick and efficient.

As they finished up, Maximus signaled to the others. "Let's move. We've got what we need."

The three of them piled into the elevator, the doors closing behind them. They breathed a sigh of relief as the elevator descended, but they knew the danger wasn't over yet. They still had to get out of the building and back to the others.

As the elevator doors opened, Bianca glanced out the window and spotted a swarm of drones approaching the car. "Drones incoming!" she shouted, her voice urgent.

Jihyuk swiftly exited the car, his Katana flashing in the sunlight as he began to slash the drones with deadly precision. "Maximus, we'll be here in a minute!" he shouted.

The group rushed towards the car, drones hot on their heels. Bianca tripped, her rifle flying out of her hands. Maximus swiftly got back to cover her, his eyes scanning the surroundings.

With a swift motion, he tossed one of his grenades towards the drones. The explosion rocked the area, sending drones crashing to the ground. "Boooommmm!!!"

Jihyuk and the girls swiftly covered Vera as she loaded her luggage into the car. Maximus helped Bianca to her feet, and together they rushed towards the car, shooting drones with their rifles.

As they reached the car, Jihyuk took the backseat, while Maximus settled into the driver's seat. Bianca slammed the door shut after she jumped into the passenger seat.

"Let's roll out!" Maximus shouted, starting the engine.

The car sped off, leaving the chaos behind. The group breathed a sigh of relief as they put distance between themselves and the drones. But they knew the danger wasn't over yet. They still had to find a safe haven and regroup.

As they drove away, Vera's voice came from the backseat. "We did it. We got everyone's belongings."

Maximus nodded, his eyes fixed on the road. "We're not out of the woods yet. We need to find a safe place to regroup and plan our next move."

The group nodded in agreement, their faces set with determination. They knew the road ahead would be tough, but they were ready to face it head-on.

As they drove away from Vera's condo, Maximus suggested they head to Jihyuk's place. "It's not far from here. We can regroup and plan our next move," he said.

But as he glanced at the gas meter, his expression turned serious. "We're running low on gas. We need to refuel."

Jihyuk nodded, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "There's a gas station nearby. Let's stop and get some gas."

The group nodded in agreement, and Maximus pulled into the gas station. As Jihyuk started refueling the car, Maximus kept watch, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.

"Ladies, why don't you go check out the shop?" Maximus suggested. "See if you can find any food or supplies."

Bianca, Vera, Kayli, and Mia nodded, grabbing their guns and heading towards the shop. They moved swiftly, looting the shelves for any non-perishable food and supplies.

Meanwhile, Maximus and Jihyuk waited by the car, keeping watch as the gas tank filled up. "Almost full," Jihyuk said, his eyes locked on the pump.

Maximus nodded, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "Good. Let's get moving as soon as the girls are back."

As they waited, the girls returned, their bags loaded with food and supplies. "We got some canned goods, energy bars, and water," Bianca said, her eyes shining with excitement.

Maximus nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Good job, ladies. Let's get moving. We've got a long way to go."

With the car refueled and the girls loaded with supplies, the group set off towards Jihyuk's place, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

As they arrived at Jihyuk's condo, Maximus asked, "Which floor?"

"The 38th, at the roof deck," Jihyuk replied, a hint of a smile on his face.

Maximus raised an eyebrow. "Oh great. This is gonna get wild."

The group shared a look, their faces set with determination. Maximus outlined the plan. "Mia, Kayli, and Vera will stay in the car. Bianca, Jihyuk, and I will go get his belongings."

Bianca teased Jihyuk, "Hey, Jihyuk's got a lot of stuff to collect. Maybe he's got a secret stash of samurai armor."

Jihyuk playfully rolled his eyes, feigning annoyance. "Just focus on the mission, Bianca."

Maximus added, "If we're not back in an hour, Kayli, you'll drive the car and get out of here. Don't wait for us."

Bianca cupped her hands around her mouth, her voice firm. "We'll be back. And that's a firm statement."

The group nodded, their faces set with determination. Maximus, Bianca, and Jihyuk exited the car, their guns at the ready. They moved swiftly towards the condo building, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

As they entered the building, Mia's voice came from the car window. "Be careful!"

Maximus nodded, his eyes locked on the building. "We will. Let's move."

The three of them entered the building, their senses on high alert. The mission to gather Jihyuk's belongings had begun.

Maximus checked the first elevator, but it wasn't working. "Not working," he said, his voice low. "Let's take the stairs to the 5th floor."

They approached the stairs, their guns at the ready. As they climbed, they encountered a few drones, which Maximus swiftly took out with his sniper rifle. Bianca and Jihyuk followed close behind, their eyes scanning the surroundings.

When they reached the 5th floor, they checked the elevator going to the 25th floor. To their relief, it was working. "Thank God," Maximus said, a hint of relief in his voice.

He and Bianca reloaded, checking their ammo. Maximus had only 3 magazines left for his sniper rifle, while Bianca had 3 magazines left for her rifle. They rested for a moment, catching their breath.

As the elevator doors opened on the 25th floor, they were greeted by a swarm of drones. They swiftly cleared them out, but Bianca's expression turned worried. "We're running low on ammo," she said, her voice low. "We have one mag each left."

Maximus nodded, his eyes locked on the next elevator. "Let's conserve our ammo. We'll switch to pistols if needed."

When they reached the elevator going to the 38th floor, Maximus switched to his golden pistols, while Bianca kept her rifle. The elevator was working, and they breathed a sigh of relief.

"We're almost there," Jihyuk said, his eyes fixed on the display. "Let's get my belongings and get out of here."

The tension was palpable as they ascended to the 38th floor. They knew the roof deck would be heavily guarded, and they needed to be prepared for anything.

As the elevator doors opened on the 38th floor, Jihyuk rushed to his room to gather his belongings. Maximus stood guard at the door, his pistols at the ready, while Bianca helped Jihyuk collect his things.

When they were ready to leave, they headed back to the elevator. But as the doors opened to the 25th floor, they were met with a swarm of drones waiting for them. Jihyuk and Maximus swiftly cleared a path, fighting their way to the next elevator. Bianca carried Jihyuk's luggage, her rifle slung over her shoulder.

As they moved down to the 5th floor, Maximus ran out of ammo for his pistols and switched back to his sniper rifle. But when they encountered another horde of drones on the 5th floor, Maximus was out of ammo once again. This time, he unsheathed his diamond sword, fighting off the drones with precision and skill.

Bianca reached the car first, loading Jihyuk's luggage into the compartment. Jihyuk and Maximus were still holding off the drones, with Mia, Kayli, and Vera helping to fend them off. Bianca jumped into the passenger seat, firing her remaining ammo at the drones.

As Maximus shouted for Jihyuk to get in the car, Jihyuk settled into the backseat. Mia threw her shotgun to Maximus, who caught it mid-swing. With the shotgun in hand, Maximus fought his way to the driver's seat.

With a smirk, Maximus unpinned his last grenade and tossed it into the horde of drones. The explosion rocked the area, sending drones flying. "Booooooooommmm!!"

Maximus jumped into the car, slammed the door shut, and sped off. "Wooooohhooooo! We made it!" he exclaimed, a triumphant grin on his face.

The group cheered, relieved to have escaped the chaos. As they drove away from the condo building, they knew they still had a long way to go. But for now, they celebrated their small victory, their bond and teamwork having saved their lives.
