When Xerxes and his companions saw that there was no one who could cure the monster's curse, not even the nation of Latherus which helped Xerxes, they were only afraid to find out the mystery of the curse. But Xerxes knew that the only one who could provide a solution to his problem was the holy nation of Cypriox, a country that stands against the evil forces of darkness. So he said goodbye to Matheros, telling him that he was going to Cypriox, but he instructed him that no one should know about his departure.
"If anyone wants to speak to me, tell them I have no time for conversation," he said to Matheros. He put on a thick green cloak, which made his appearance somewhat murky to Matheros. The dagger on Xerxes's shoulder glinted and he tucked his long sword into its scabbard, making sure it was tied securely. He thought about the long journey ahead, the many miles he would travel, so he also prepared his water, food, and money.
