Let's talk about the characters:
Unlike the first volume, we now have character designs, which I hope will help you visualize this story better.
— Rex, our protagonist, is a peculiar case. I feel he doesn't need massive development, as he already has a very defined way of thinking and acting shaped by his past as a soldier. However, in this world we see how he sometimes behaves like the teenager he really is, and considering his age, I see no problem with that. It's a reminder of his humanity.
— Regarding the harem, I know it's one of the hardest points to justify. And boy, is it a challenge! But I pose a question to you: Have you stopped to think what will happen when the twins find out that Rex was "deflowered" by their mom? Personally, I imagine Anne subjecting him to a sex marathon with the intention of making him forget any other woman, while Mary might feel a quiet happiness at the idea of seeing her family grow in such a… peculiar way.
— Speaking of the twins, as I mentioned, this volume was supposed to cover many topics, but due to development issues and lack of space to give them the spotlight they deserve, I've decided to move their most important arcs to the next volume, including their final design. Let's hope that by the next installment they look as incredible as I imagine!
— Rex's friends—like the idiots—serve a dual purpose: they are the necessary comic relief and that human detail our protagonist so needs to not lose his way. I hope that in the future they don't remain just sidekicks, but contribute to the plot.
— About Ethan and Drake, I confess I still don't feel their personalities are complete. There are still layers to explore in them, so patience.
— Robert and the heroine's capture targets I will leave for the next volume. Their moment to shine—or sink—is yet to come.
— And finally, we come to Eliza. There's so much to say about her! In the last volume she was so sweet, and now she seems always angry with Rex. Villainesses like her carry a huge weight on their shoulders. In the next volume, we will find out her reasons for rejecting him with her eyes, while constantly carrying him in her thoughts.
— Lillie… Who is she really? She is that strange character who isn't central to the plot, but has mysteriously been involved in crucial events. Could she be a hint of something bigger, something special? Only time will tell.

Now, the important thing: I promised you Volume 3 soon, and I stand by that. However, the novel I used as inspiration for the twins will return at the end of October. To be able to include potential material for an extra story with them, I've decided to wait to read it. Therefore, Volume 3 will be on a brief hiatus until then.
My next novel is still in the decision phase, as I have university matters to attend to and must prioritize them when required. Fate will decide what the next project will be.
