Riven and Sylvren decided to dig up the staff and the sword, and put a strategy to defeat the black rose. The time for revolution came. They began planning the strike against the black rose. The black rose had 4 major military camps and a heavily fortified central residence. The most guarded camp was the one near the village (the southern east camp) the third petal camp, and the three others camps were not as guarded as the third petal camp, they decided to strike from the far (northern east camp) the second petal camp. It could be the best strike as in winter the soldiers couldn't fight properly and that was the chance for them in that harsh storming weather.
Riven and Sylvren agreed to strike the second petal camp and scheduled for following month, as it was the perfect timing – harsh winter storms that would weaken the enemy's defense lines.
One week before the strike, Sylvren paid a visit to the temple and the chest, he decided to touch the blue orbs with a feel of unease. Suddenly, a flash of memories pr visions passed, King Orrin was killed but in two different scenarios, one from an unknown person who was from Durnkhall, and the other from Isenor but his hair was black not white, he and Orrin were wearing some kind of royal uniform, it wasn't Eloria's or Durnkhall's royal uniform, they were fighting over the chest, then the flash faded.
It was a vision for something. Sylvren was wondering what he saw, then suddenly, Isenor came like if he emerged from the shadows, saying cakmly with a cold tone: "you are wondering what was that right? Do you want to know the truth?" Sylvren nodded, Isenor said: "before Orrin was assassinated and all of this, Durnkhall was a paradise on earth, but Eloria couldn't stand it, the first king of Eloria destroyed Durnkhall, my home, he killed men, women, children, everyone who disobeyed him. Your kings destroyed my country, our beautiful kingdom, and you think we don't have the right to fight back, you would be wrong, we saw the chance took it, and we want what Eloria took from us", then Isenor whispered to Sylvren: "If you want to see the divine truth that no one can deny, be my right hand, and you will know what happened. If you want to fight back, it is your choice, but it will only bring another chaos.", then Isenor vanished without a trace, Sylvren was wondering what has just happened was it true. He wanted to stop the strike. He went back home to talk with Riven. While that was happening, Torrin (the brother of Riven) wanted to be the one who leads the army, he wanted to kill his brother, and become the hero in the eyes of the people of Eloria. Riven saw through the ball of the staff, he was being assassinated by Torrin. Riven busted in Torrin's room saying: "why, what did I do to deserve this? I cared about you, and that's what I deserve."
Torrin: "Don't act innocent. You wanted fame and I wanted as well, so don't play the victim for this. If you were the hero, People are not going to remember, only you. If I would be remembered, it would only for being your helpless little half-brother."
Riven: "Torrin, I cared for you, me and our mom, she isn't mine only, she cared for you as she cared for mine, she didn't care if you aren't her son, if you want fame, glory, take them. You will always be my brother weather you like it or not."
Torrin felt that he was guilty saying: "I am sorry, forgive me.", while crying. Riven let him go saying he forgave him.
Sylvren came back telling Riven that they should stop, they had a heated argument, Sylvren wanted to save both Eloria and Durnkhall saying peace should be to everybody, while Riven was saying that Durnkhall should be perished and if that was sylvren wanted, then he is fighting the wrong war. For the first time, they didn't agree on anything. Sylvren turned his back and left.
The day before the strike Riven gave a speech with his brother (Torrin)
The people cheered for them saying that Riven was the true hero of Eloria. Riven led the army, they were near the second petal camp, suddenly, the camp was packed with elite black rose soldiers and Isenor was in front of them, he raised his hand signaling for his soldiers to start the war, the war started, Riven marched a fierce battle began, Torrin was fighting a dozen of soldiers on his own trying to help his brother, Riven was fightin three comrade alone, they were no match for them. Riven got injured, wounded, he hid inside a place next to the camp trying to aid himself to come back to the war, then Sylvren appeared. Riven went for him thinking he would be saved, then the unexpected happened, he pointed at Riven saying he was him, Isenor patted Sylvren's shoulder, whispering to him: "so, you have chosen to find the divine truth".
Riven was shocked like if he was stabbed in his heart, hurt, saying that couldn't happen, why. He and the soldiers were put in shackles. Riven was looking to Sylvren without Sylvren looking back, then Isenor raised his hand saying to his soldiers: "Leave us, until I say otherwise", then he locked his eyes on Sylvren then Riven saying: "So, you both want to know what happened to your parents, don't you".
