The wild music instantly filled the room.

He told himself it was funny.

A laugh rang from the couch.
"Porn, huh? Which poor bastard caught you this time?" Nikolai had that rat grin that promised trouble, and a cigarette dangling from his lips.
Alexei didn't look up. He rewound the ten-second clip, carefully watching how Elijah didn't react a bit, or how that Adam's apple rolled in his throat.
Elijah looked disgusted, like he'd just swallowed the raw, moldy mushroom.
As for how Alexei knew it tasted disgusting? Yeah, it was just one of his childhood memories. Nothing worth mentioning.
