Keiji walked down the quiet hallway, hands in his pockets, his steps slow and unwilling.
He sighed.
"There goes my nap... No more peace and quiet. And all because someone decided to sign me up for their club without asking."
He stopped in front of a classroom door. A simple wooden plaque read Class D Clubroom – Pending Approval.
Another sigh.
"Here we go..."
He slid the door open.
Inside, Reina was already sitting near the window, legs crossed, book in hand. Her long black hair shimmered slightly in the sunlight. She didn't say a word—just looked up at him for a second, then returned to her book without emotion.
Keiji walked in, pulled a chair toward the back of the room, and slumped into it. He rested his head on the desk.
"So... what kind of book are you reading, anyway? Seems like the same one from yesterday."
Reina didn't reply. She simply flipped a page.
Keiji didn't push further. He closed his eyes.
"Whatever... might as well nap while I can."

Meanwhile…
Outside on the school grounds, under the shade of a tree, a blonde-haired girl stood nervously in front of a boy.
Her cheeks were red. Her voice trembled.
"I... I... I like you!"
The boy blinked, then smiled casually.
"Sure. Why not?"
Later, the two walked side by side in a park nearby. The girl's name was Luna, and she looked hopeful as she offered a warm smile.
"Do you want something to eat?"
The boy laughed.
"Sorry. I've got no money left. Spent it all."
Luna reached into her bag.
"Don't worry. I have some points left. I'll pay. We're friends, right?"
The boy shrugged.
"If you say so."
They ate together, sitting on a bench. But as they finished, the boy suddenly stood up.
"Uh... sorry. I don't think we're really made for each other."
Luna froze.
"What?"
"Thanks for the food."
And with that, he turned and walked away.
Luna sat there alone for a few seconds before tears welled up in her eyes. She wiped them, but they kept coming.
She quietly made her way back to the school and stepped into her classroom.
Kozue Yukishiro, their homeroom teacher, looked up from her desk.
"Sorry, but no one's allowed to stay in the classrooms after hours."
Luna didn't respond. She just stood there, looking lost.
Kozue softened her tone.
"Is something wrong?"
Luna finally broke.
"My boyfriend broke up with me. I don't know what to do anymore."
Her voice cracked, and tears streamed down her face.
Kozue sighed softly and stood up.
She walked over to the girl and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"I think I know someone who can help."

Back in the clubroom…
Keiji still had his head down.
"This isn't so bad..." he thought, drifting between sleep and thought. "At least she's quiet."
Suddenly, the door creaked open.
He opened one eye lazily.
Reina looked up from her book.
A familiar blonde girl stepped into the room, holding her hands tightly in front of her. Her eyes were red from crying, but she tried to force a smile.
"Um… hi. My name is Luna. Can I… can I join this club, please?"
Keiji sat up slowly.
Reina raised an eyebrow.
Luna bowed her head.
"I don't have any friends anymore. I just want to be part of something… anything. Please."
