Chapter 90 - 90 I'll teach you

As they continued to ride, Leng Yue slowed down his horse. The others followed suit, pulling on their reins.

"What happened?" Lian Yu asked, raising a brow.

"We are not going to make it. The journey is too far. Should we invite Yuyan to help us?" Lian Yu suggested.

Leng Yue turned to him. "And how do you intend to invite someone who is far away from us?"

"I can call her anywhere in the world, no matter the distance," Lian Yu said proudly.

"Let's see how you do that," Leng Yue muttered, already irritated by his smug look.

Lian Yu only smiled sweetly, clearly enjoying Leng Yue's jealousy. "We need to stop so I can connect my heart to my lovely wife," he added proudly, teasing him even more.

Leng Yue rolled his eyes and lifted his arm. "Halt!" he ordered, and the soldiers stopped. Turning back to Lian Yu, he smirked. "This guy here wants to dedicate."

"What!" Lian Yu exclaimed.

"Do you want to speak to your wife or not?" Leng Yue shot back.

Lian Yu gave him a deadly glare before dismounting his horse. He walked into the trees, closed his eyes, and began calling Yuyan with his heart, hoping she could hear him despite the distance.

When he finished and slowly opened his eyes, Leng Yue's face was suddenly too close to his.

"What!?" Lian Yu exclaimed.

"Don't you think you need help?" Leng Yue asked dryly. "Because I personally think you're sick in the head."

His words only made Lian Yu laugh aloud.

"Who is sick?" a sweet female voice asked from the opposite side.

Both men exclaimed at once—one shouting "Yuyan!" while the other cried "My love!"—and rushed toward her. Lian Yu teleported instantly and reached her first. By the time Leng Yue arrived, Tian Yu was already shielding her, protecting her from him like a child guarding a favorite toy.

"She's my sister," Leng Yue said irritably, annoyed by Tian Yu's childish behavior. But Tian Yu ignored him, leaning in and kissing Yuyan without hesitation.

"Disgusting," Leng Yue muttered, turning away with a look of irritation.

When the couple finally joined him again, Tian Yu leaned close and whispered, "Don't worry, I'll teach you."

Leng Yue's expression darkened further.

At last, Yuyan smiled politely and greeted Leng Yue.

The soldiers, upon seeing her, grew surprised. Some of them who recognized her exclaimed, "Princess, what are you doing here?"

"I am not here," Yuyan said softly, casting a confusion spell that erased their memory of her presence.

Turning back to the two men, she asked, "What do you want?"

"We want to rescue some children from Ji Woo's army, but the distance is too far," Leng Yue explained.

"Then let's dismiss the soldiers first," Yuyan suggested, and both men agreed.

Raising her arm and murmuring a few words, she sent all the soldiers riding back home.

"You lazy vampire," Leng Yue teased, "you can't even teleport a far distance."

"He can," Yuyan said, defending her husband. "It's just that since he woke up, he hasn't drunk any blood. That's why." Her defense only make him roll his eyes.

In a far away village, the very one Leng Yue had foresaw , the soldiers had alread take over the world village.

It was a peaceful place, small houses with thatched roofs lined along a narrow path, smoke rising lazily from chimneys, and children's laughter echoing faintly in the distance. A little boy, hearing the sound of hooves and boots, stepped outside curiously. His eyes widened in surprise when he recognized the man at the front.

"Papa!" he shouted, his face lighting up with joy.

At the sound of his voice, his little sister ran out as well, her tiny feet pattering across the ground. They both rushed toward the man they had not seen for months, arms outstretched, ready to embrace their father.

But before they could reach him, the man's cold voice broke the moment. "Seize them!" he ordered.

The soldiers moved quickly, grabbing the two children roughly by their arms.

This was the sight their mother saw as she stepped out of the house. She froze, staring at the scene in shock. Her gaze locked on the man she had always called husband. His face was the same, but there was something strange in his eyes—hard, distant, almost unrecognizable.

"Seize who?" she demanded, her voice trembling with both anger and confusion.

Her husband didn't answer. Instead, he stood silently as the soldiers dragged their children away.

"You're not taking them anywhere!" she barked, fury rising inside her—not just because he had disappeared for months without a word, but because he now returned only to order the children taken away without speaking to her or even asking permission.

She rushed forward, trying to pull her children free from the soldiers' grip. "You are not taking them anywhere!" she screamed again.

In that moment, her husband moved. With a swift motion, he raised his hand and struck her across the face. The force of the slap was so strong that she collapsed instantly to the ground. Darkness claimed her as she fainted, and before she could even open her eyes again, the children were gone—dragged away into by the soldiers.

The kidnapping continued through the village. Cries filled the air as soldiers forced their way into homes, seizing children while parents fought desperately to protect them. Those who resisted were cut down without mercy.

It was in that moment that Yuyan raised her hand and cast a powerful spell. Light swirled around them, and in the blink of an eye, they vanished from the woods—only to reappear in the very village Leng Yue had seen in his dream.

What they saw froze them in place. Soldiers stormed through the peaceful homes, tearing children from their mothers' arms, striking down fathers who dared to resist. The ground was already stained red, and the wails of families filled the sir.

Without hesitation, Tian Yu and Leng Yue drew their weapons, the steel flashing under the pale morning sun. Yuyan's eyes burned with determination as she lifted her hands, preparing her spells.

"Who are those men? Kill them!" the leader of the soldiers shouted, his voice twisted with anger. The soldiers' eyes glowed unnaturally, their faces set with rage—they were clearly not in their right minds.

The first wave of men charged. Tian Yu and Leng Yue split apart, moving like shadows across the battleland . With swift, strikes, they cut down the soldiers in their path, blades slicing through throats and sending bodies crashing to the ground.

Yuyan fought differently. As she raised her hands, glowing symbols sparked in the air. She darted among the frenzied soldiers, dodging attacks and reaching out to touch their necks. Each one she touched shuddered violently, the strange red haze leaving their eyes as their sanity returned.

. As Yuyan pressed her palm to one soldier's neck, another raised his sword behind her, ready to strike. In an instant, Tian Yu teleported, appearing right behind her. His blade flashed, severing the soldier's head in one clean stroke. The head rolled across the sand-strewn ground while his body fell lifelessly at Yuyan's feet.

"Be careful!" Tian Yu shouted, his voice sharp with concern, though his eyes remained locked on the enemies around them.

Even as the battle raged, some soldiers continued dragging children toward the edge of the village. Seeing this, Tian Yu blurred forward at the speed of lightning. One by one, he cut the kidnappers down, their blood spraying as his sword, making sure that no one of them escaped.

Leng Yue fought with ruthless precision, his blade slicing through armor and flesh alike. Every strike was lethal, every move calculated. He cut through the possessed soldiers like a storm tearing through trees, his face grim with fury.

Together, they fought until the last soldier fell lifeless to the ground. The only ones spared were those Yuyan had been able to save—men now dazed and confused.
