Stacy's POV
I stood there utterly frozen in place. My heart was in pain, and I tried to make out what was going on, but it didn't seem to want to come to a sound in my mind.
"What the hell is she doing in here?" I asked, wanting to know why a naked woman was in his room. As much as it wasn't funny, it was also very foreign. I didn't know what I was doing.
My chest was in pain, and I felt like I was about to explode just seeing her there was something else I couldn't contain.
I ran my hands through my hair, and immediately tried to go in there. I didn't care how it was going to happen, I was going to confront her. I wanted to know what she wanted exactly, what exactly she was doing. In my betrothed's room.
"What are you doing here?" I asked with raised brows as I walked into the room. My hands were fisted, and I glared at her, but she immediately started to laugh.
"Are you seriously asking me that? I think the person who should be getting the question is you." She paused her words, using her eyes to check me out from head to toe. She seemed to have a lot of things she wanted to say to me, but she was keeping them.
"If not for your expensive dress, I would have mistaken you for one of the maids."
My eyes immediately widened, and I stared at her, grinding my teeth as I listened to her speak. I wanted to know who she was to have the heart to say these things to me.
"And who are you? Who are you to question me, and why are you laying naked in the bed of the man who is supposed to be mine?"
"Yours?" She asked, and then rolled her eyes. But after rolling her eyes, she laughed, using her hands to cover her mouth. She wasn't even ashamed to look me in the eyes.
"Are you sure you are aware of what you're saying? Did you just claim him as yours or what?" She questioned again, and this time, I frowned deeply.
"I am the one he's going to get married to!" I yelled, my veins popping out. I was trying to secure my place, but again, she laughed. The way she laughed, got me worried, and the fact that I still didn't know who she was still bothered me.
"Who are you?!" I screamed, and only then did she heave, shaking her head.
"Well I feel sorry for you because I am someone more than special, and you saying you're the one he's supposed to be with is alarming because then what does that make me?" She asked, and then shrugged her shoulders. "Well if you want to know so bad which I am very sure you want to, I am his mate. His one and only mate, and also his betrothed."
As soon as she said that, I staggered backwards, holding my palms close to my chest. I felt my heart race and I got really worried. Everything wasn't going the way I was intending for it to go.
"No, you're kidding right? You're a liar!" I yelled, but she adjusted herself on the bed, and immediately turned her face away from him.
"I already told you what you wanted to know, but you can confirm if you--"
I rushed out of the room in anger, my motive wanting to find him. I wanted to find him because right now, he was the only one that could explain all these things to me.
I headed straight for his study because that was the place I suspected I was going to see him, but I didn't actually find him when I opened the door.
My chest was moving like my fast beating heartbeat, but the worst part of it was the fact that I ran out of ideas.
"Try calling him," my wolf suggested when she noticed I was going crazy.
"Try calling him?" I asked, and then immediately tried to reach into my purse for my phone. The moment the phone got into my hands, I immediately scrolled to his number, rushing back to the room. I wanted her to hear him tell me he didn't know anything about her, but then it wasn't possible..."
However, as I got there, I noticed she pulled up the phone. "You're trying to call him? Come on sweetie, I told you. He belongs to me." At that moment there was a shatter and no one knew what was going on anymore.
"No, no!' I yelled, but walked out of there. My chest was too heavy, and I wanted to leave there as soon as possible. However, I bumped into Liam.
His expression was neutral, but for some reason, I wanted to talk to him about his brother's attitude.
"Kai, Kai has been so rude to me. He has another woman in his bed when he's supposed to get married to me. I'm hurt, I'm pained. I don't even know what else to do about it. I'm just..."
He didn't say anything, watching how tears beamed on my eyes. "Say something please..." I really wanted to know what was going on.
"I already told you. I have already said this to you, but it seems like you really don't know what else is best for you. You don't know what you're getting yourself into."
My heart skipped a beat when I heard him say that, but I really didn't want to believe this anymore. I didn't want to take his words to heart.
I walked away from there, but my phone buzzed. At first I didn't want to check it, but when I was curious, I did, and I saw it was a text message from Kai.
I didn't want to open it, but there was no need holding back. It was best to know what it contained.
"You don't know what'll hit you. You are up for a thrill on your wedding day just you watch...' was this supposed to be a threat?
