"..." Shirley Turner immediately fell silent, her face looking rather unpleasant.
Mason Miller grew impatient: "It's freezing out here, do you really need to chat by the roadside? Let's go, get in the car first."
Before he finished speaking, he stepped forward to pull open my car door.
But it didn't open.
"Lily, open the door!" He looked at me without even calling me "sister."
I smiled and said, "No rush, let's wait a bit."
Mason Miller was bewildered and looked back at his parents.
Jason Miller finally spoke, saying his first words upon seeing me, "Lily, did you come specifically to mess with me?"
I replied bluntly, "Kind of, I wanted to see how miserable you look, then tell Mom about it and make her happy over there."
Jason Miller's face turned ashen with anger. He said harshly, "Let's go! Ignore her! We'll take a cab ourselves!"
He grabbed Shirley Turner's arm and turned to leave.
