Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigrating into the Uchiha Clan, Starting Off by Scaring Kushina

[Learning from the experience and lessons of the previous book, this one should be written better.]

Inside the Ninja Academy of Konoha Village.

A young boy from the Uchiha clan (with black hair tinged with purple) suddenly jolted awake from his desk.

Uchiha Ryun clutched his head in pain as a flood of unfamiliar memories surged into his mind.

Before long, the two sets of memories completed their fusion.

Within that small skull, the merging of consciousness triggered a peculiar mental mutation.

The vast spiritual energy "pried open" the power of his bloodline. In the next moment, Uchiha Ryun's eyes turned a bloody crimson.

One, two, three black tomoe materialized around his pupils.

Not far away, a red-haired girl noticed the anomaly.

It was currently lunch break, and the classroom only had the two of them.

Seeing her deskmate holding his head as if in agony, she patted Ryun's shoulder and asked kindly,

"Hey, what's wrong with you?"

Uchiha Ryun abruptly turned to look at her, and those terrifying blood-red eyes instantly sent the red-haired girl tumbling to the floor.

"Is this... hell?"

Everything before him was dyed in red, and combined with his memories of death, he thought he had arrived in hell.

"No, I'm not dead!"

"Wait, I did die!"

Ryun stared at his small hands in shock, his crimson eyes filled with disbelief.

This deranged muttering terrified the red-haired girl, leaving her face pale.

"Ah—"

She let out a scream, then scrambled to her feet and ran out of the classroom.

Her little deskmate had gone mad—she needed to fetch a teacher.

"Uzumaki... Kushina!"

Watching the red-haired girl's retreating figure, Ryun's mind recalled a familiar name.

"Konoha Village, Ninja Academy, Uzumaki Kushina, Uchiha clan..."

"I see!"

After a brief moment of contemplation, he gradually understood what was happening.

"After dying, I actually transmigrated..."

His soul had crossed into the world of Naruto (ninjas), reincarnating into a boy who shared his name—Uchiha Ryun!

The consciousness of two souls, one large and one small, merged together, with Ryun's over twenty years of memories taking dominance.

"A young body, eyes brimming with pupil power..."

Ryun alternated between staring at his childish body and touching his three-tomoe Sharingan.

The corners of his lips slowly curled upward, his expression growing increasingly excited.

"A mediocre life is now over. A new life begins. From now on, I am... Uchiha Ryun!"

In just a short span of ten minutes, Ryun had already accepted the fact that he had died and transmigrated.

Not that he had much choice—since he was here, he might as well make the best of it.

"Teacher Koda, hurry! Ryun's gone crazy! His eyes were so scary!"

Kushina rushed back with the chunin instructor in tow.

The moment they hurriedly stepped into the classroom, they saw Uchiha Ryun nonchalantly doing eye exercises.

"Huh???"

Kushina suddenly felt something was off. Why had this guy returned to normal so quickly?

After a brief hesitation, Kushina strode to Ryun's side and yanked his hand away from his face.

"Huh? What are you doing, Kushina?"

Ryun opened his eyes, looking "confused" at Kushina.

His large eyes were bright and clear—where was the terrifying red eye disease from before?

"Your eyes... they weren't like this earlier!" Kushina was dumbfounded.

"What are you talking about? What's wrong with my eyes?"

"Just now, your eyes were blood-red! How did they suddenly go back to normal?" Kushina pressed.

"Ah... really red?"

"Maybe I didn't sleep well last night... No wonder they felt sore. That's why I'm doing eye exercises to relax them!"

Ryun chuckled awkwardly in explanation.

He couldn't afford to expose his Sharingan awakening, so he had no choice but to make Kushina the scapegoat.

"..."

Hearing this, Kushina's face stiffened. Instinctively, she felt something was wrong, but Ryun's explanation was so logical that she was left in doubt...

"But what about all that nonsense you were spouting earlier? You said this was hell, that you were dead, then that you weren't dead. Were you having a mental breakdown?"

Kushina demanded loudly, causing the clueless chunin instructor to stare at Ryun in surprise.

"Ah... I was just napping at my desk, right? Daydreaming made me groggy, and I thought I'd died and gone to hell." Ryun gave an "embarrassed" smile.

This explanation was airtight, logically consistent and impossible to refute.

"So you were just half-asleep... Kushina, you're way too jumpy!"

"Both of you, go take a break. Stop acting so hysterical all the time..."

After scolding the two, Instructor Koda left the classroom with a dark expression.

Kushina scratched her head and sat back down, her mind clouded with self-doubt.

"No, that's not right! It wasn't like that! I clearly saw three black dots in those red eyes..."

Before Kushina could finish, Ryun quickly covered her mouth. Instructor Koda hadn't gone far yet—he couldn't risk being overheard by anyone suspicious.

"Keep it down..."

This girl was clearly not easy to fool!

Having her mouth covered by a boy, Kushina's cheeks flushed red. She immediately pulled Ryun's hand away.

"Explain. What was that all about?" Kushina asked curiously.

"Don't ask. Just keep it a secret for me..." Ryun didn't want to elaborate.

"Keep what a secret? Those three black bean-like dots? And why should I keep it a secret for you?"

Kushina blinked her big, pretty eyes.

"..."

"You were just pretending to be dumb earlier, weren't you? You made me get scolded by Instructor Koda for no reason, and now you want me to help you?"

"Are you dreaming? I'll go tell Instructor Koda the truth right now..." Kushina sneered threateningly.

"Wait—my bad! I'm sorry!"

Ryun hurriedly apologized. Were all elementary school kids in the ninja world this sharp?

Kushina found Ryun's subconscious term of address amusing.

"If you want me to keep your secret, fine. But first, explain what's up with your eyes?"

"..."

After a long silence, Ryun sighed helplessly.

"Ever heard of kekkei genkai? The Uchiha clan's kekkei genkai."

They were currently in fifth grade, and Instructor Koda had already taught them about kekkei genkai.

"You're saying you awakened a kekkei genkai? The Sharingan, which rivals the Byakugan of the Hyuga clan?" Kushina widened her eyes in disbelief.

In school, she often heard the Uchiha and Hyuga clans arguing over whose eyes were stronger, so she understood what Ryun meant.

Hearing this, Ryun didn't argue. Instead, he smiled faintly and nodded.
