Chapter 93 - Chapter 93: Look, He Is Shorter Than Me

"So that's Frieza…"

Trunks and Son Goten stared wide-eyed at the figure in front of them. They had heard stories—especially from Krillin—about the terrifying Emperor of the Universe, but this was their first time seeing him in person.

"Haah!"

Without hesitation, the two boys powered up, their black hair transforming into shining golden spikes. Their bodies were engulfed in golden auras as they entered Super Saiyan form.

With lightning-like speed, they rushed forward and stood protectively in front of Rayden.

They were eager to see just how powerful this galactic tyrant really was—the one who had supposedly terrified even their Uncle Krillin.

"Super Saiyans!"

Frieza's face twisted in anger. "These two brats are Saiyans too?!"

"Damn you all! I'll exterminate every last one of you!"

He was absolutely livid. In his mind, it was because of these cursed Saiyans and meddlesome Earthlings that he had ended up suffering through humiliating experiences in the Child's Paradise (the otherworld's version of purgatory for evildoers).

Before Frieza could even lift a finger, BOOM!

Son Goten landed a swift and powerful kick directly into his abdomen.

Frieza folded over like a shrimp, groaning in pain as he was sent flying backward, crashing into a nearby mountain. The cliff crumbled, and rocks tumbled down, burying him beneath the rubble.

"Hmph. That's it?"

Frieza's aura suddenly exploded as he roared in fury, blasting away the debris around him with a surge of energy.

He rose from the crater, body trembling with rage and humiliation.

"Goten," Trunks said, scratching his head, "This guy isn't that impressive. I don't get why Uncle Krillin was so scared."

"Yeah, he seems kind of weak."

Trunks floated closer to Frieza, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.

Standing beside the still-recovering tyrant, he pointed to his own head and then gestured at Frieza's.

"Hey, Goten! Look at this—he's shorter than me!"

"Hahahaha!" Son Goten couldn't help but laugh. "You're right!"

Even Rayden burst into laughter. "I'm gonna die from laughing. Trunks, that was savage!"

"YOU LITTLE BRAT!"

Frieza's face darkened with fury. He lunged at Trunks with a roar, swinging a fist aimed straight at the boy's head.

BANG!

The punch connected—but it was Trunks' forehead that met Frieza's knuckles, not the other way around. Trunks didn't move an inch.

He stood calmly and smirked.

"Frieza, did you forget to eat breakfast or something? That punch was weak! Is that why you're so short?"

With a growl, Trunks began pummeling Frieza with a flurry of blows.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

"Ahhh! Aghh!" Frieza howled with each impact, completely overwhelmed.

Watching nearby, Tagma prepared to charge in and help.

"Lord Frieza!"

Before he could take two steps, Trunks spun around and kicked him aside like a football.

Tagma tumbled through the air and landed hard against a boulder.

"Boring," Trunks muttered, raising his fist one last time.

BOOM!

Frieza's body was slammed into the ground, creating a huge crater as dust and debris filled the air.

When the smoke cleared, Frieza lay in the center of the impact site, his body bruised and battered. Yet even through the pain, his crimson eyes glared hatefully at Rayden and the others.

"Oh?"

Rayden raised a brow. "He can still glare at us after all that? Looks like Frieza's durability has improved."

Trunks cupped his hands around his mouth and called out, "Uncle Rayden! Do you want me to finish off the 'Emperor of the Universe'?"

Frieza's heart skipped a beat.

This brat wants to kill me? No! Not again! Not the Child's Paradise!

His pride evaporated instantly as fear consumed him.

Frieza began crawling, inch by inch, trying to slither away from the battlefield.

Rayden raised his hand. "Wait, Trunks! Don't kill him just yet."

Trunks stopped mid-air. "Huh? But why?"

Rayden grinned. "Frieza still has some use."

He turned to Great Elder Muli, who was observing quietly from behind.

"Great Elder, Earth is located to the west of Namek. You're welcome to visit anytime. You can use Solbe's spaceship—it should still be operational."

Elder Muli nodded with a smile. "If I ever get the chance, I will certainly visit Earth. It would be an honor."

With a respectful nod, Rayden walked over to Frieza and Tagma. He grabbed each of them by the collar, motioned for Trunks and Son Goten to come closer, and activated Instant Transmission.

With a flash, they disappeared.

Back on Earth – Temple of Heaven

Swish!

Rayden, Trunks, Goten, Frieza, and Tagma reappeared at the Temple of Heaven.

Dende, who was tending to the garden, turned around and was startled.

"Rayden? Wait—is that Frieza?! Why did you bring him here?"

Rayden looked over his shoulder. "Trunks, you explain. I've got some business."

He slung Frieza over one shoulder and Tagma over the other and began walking toward the Hyperbolic Time Chamber—also known as the Spirit Time Room.

After navigating the temple's corridors, Rayden reached the white door.

Frieza, still groaning, lifted his head weakly. "W-What are you doing?! Are you sealing me in that room?!"

Rayden didn't answer. He reached into his storage ring and pulled out a handful of Senzu Beans, stuffing them into Tagma's shirt.

Then, with two swift kicks, he booted both of them through the chamber door.

"That bean can heal all injuries," Rayden said nonchalantly as he closed the door behind them. Then, he sat cross-legged outside, entering a meditative state.

If Tagma truly shared blood with Jiren's race, then this experience inside the Spirit Time Room could unlock his dormant power.

Rayden smirked. This will be interesting when the next Multiversal Tournament rolls around.

Inside the Spirit Time Room

Tagma groaned as he got to his feet. The ground beneath him was pure white, stretching into endless space.

"Lord Frieza, are you alright?" he asked, turning to the still-wounded tyrant.

"You…!" Frieza snarled, too weak to move. "Do I look alright to you?!"

Tagma sweat nervously and reached into his pocket.

"Here, King Frieza. There's this bean… Rayden said it can heal any injury. Should I give it to you?"

Frieza's eyes widened.

"A bean? Are you insane?! That guy probably laced it with poison. You want to finish me off, don't you?"

"No, my lord! I swear I don't!"

Frieza huffed and lay back, groaning.

---

One Week Later…

Inside the Spirit Time Room, the atmosphere had grown increasingly tense.

Tagma sat beside a bed where Frieza lay completely motionless.

"Lord Frieza," he reported, "there's nothing out here except this building and a white void. The temperature swings from boiling hot to freezing cold. If it weren't for the food stocked inside, we would've starved!"

Frieza clenched his fists. "Damn you, Rayden! What kind of hellish place is this?!"

Tagma looked at him cautiously. "My lord… Maybe now's a good time to try the bean?"

Frieza remained silent, then slowly opened his eyes.

"You're loyal, Tagma. I'll give you a chance to prove it."

His eyes gleamed red—and in an instant, two laser beams shot from his pupils.

Zap!

Tagma screamed as the beams pierced through his legs, knocking him to the floor.

"AAAAAHHH!"

Frieza smiled coldly. "Now—eat that bean. Let's see if it really works."

Tagma groaned, trembling, but obeyed. He pulled out a Senzu Bean, popped it into his mouth, and swallowed.

A second later, the wounds vanished. His legs were completely healed.

He stood up in disbelief. "It… it worked! King Frieza, it really healed me!"

Frieza burst into laughter.

"Hohohoho! Excellent!"

He extended a hand. "Give me one."

Tagma quickly complied, placing a bean in his master's hand.

Frieza's crimson eyes glinted. "Now that I'm healed, we're getting out of this cursed place."
