The people who had just arrived were Rayden, Broly, Cell, and Paragus.
Rayden squinted slightly as he observed the scene.
Why is Zamasu here? That troublemaker?
He was confused. Was Gowasu really stepping down as Supreme Kai already?
Broly, Cell, and Paragus also examined the four individuals ahead of them. The little girl holding the staff appeared to be an Angel, and the pink elephant exuding divine energy could only be the God of Destruction.
"What are you staring at?" Zamasu barked, clearly offended. "How dare mere humans gaze so disrespectfully upon gods?"
Zamasu, clearly irritated, walked toward Paragus—who appeared older and perhaps easier to intimidate—clearly intending to "teach a lesson" to the man before him.
"Zamasu, stop!" Gowasu shouted sharply, sensing trouble.
But Paragus wasn't intimidated in the slightest. He looked at Zamasu with indifference.
"You bark like a wolf, but fight like a puppy," Paragus thought.
As Zamasu threw a punch at him, Paragus responded without hesitation.
Smack!
With a clean backhand, Paragus slapped Zamasu away like swatting a fly.
"W-What just happened?" Zamasu groaned as he got up, holding his now-swollen cheek in disbelief.
He was stunned—a human had just humiliated him. Rage swelled inside him.
"You'll pay for that!" Zamasu roared. His energy flared violently as he formed a glowing blade on his right hand—a deadly energy "hand knife." He charged at Paragus.
"Zamasu, no!" Gowasu shouted, now completely stunned by Zamasu's aggression.
Rumsshi, however, only crossed his arms and grinned. "Interesting. This Zamasu might be worth watching after all. He's far stronger than most Supreme Kai candidates."
"Drink!"
Paragus shouted as black hair flowed past his shoulders. His chest and hands became covered with red fur, and his tail turned crimson as well.
Paragus had transformed into Super Saiyan 4!
Rayden observed calmly as Zamasu rushed in. "Paragus," he said casually, "have a little fun, but don't kill him."
Paragus nodded.
Swish!
He vanished and reappeared instantly in front of Zamasu.
"What—?!"
Before Zamasu could react, Paragus slammed a fist into his gut.
Zamasu's body folded in half like a shrimp as he flew backward, coughing blood.
Paragus gave chase and began a brutal combo of punches and kicks. Zamasu's body spun helplessly in midair like a kicked football.
"AHHH!"
Zamasu had no ability to resist. He could only howl in pain as he was mercilessly pummeled.
Why… why is this happening? he thought bitterly. Aren't I a god? Why can't I defeat a mere mortal?!
Tiring of the fight, Paragus flashed above Zamasu, then delivered a crushing punch that slammed him straight into the ground.
BOOM!
A shockwave rippled across the area as a dust cloud rose high.
As it settled, Zamasu lay unconscious and motionless in a crater.
Paragus slowly descended, planting a foot on Zamasu's chest.
He smirked. "Didn't you just try to kill me? Is this all you've got? Who gave you the guts to attack me?"
Zamasu coughed up more blood, enraged and humiliated beyond words.
Rumsshi watched from afar, unimpressed. "I thought this would be fun, but it turns out he's just a punching bag."
Gowasu turned anxiously to Rumsshi. "Lord Rumsshi, please… step in and stop them!"
Rumsshi nodded solemnly. "Don't worry, Gowasu. I won't let them leave without consequences for humiliating someone from our universe."
He marched forward and glared at Paragus.
"You, human—remove your foot!"
Paragus looked at him, grinned, then lifted his foot… only to stomp it down again.
"There. Took it away and put it right back."
"You dare mock me?!" Rumsshi roared, appearing instantly in front of Paragus with a raised fist.
Paragus responded immediately with his own punch.
BANG!
Their fists collided with a violent crack, sending shockwaves through the air. Both men staggered back from the clash.
Zamasu, however, was not so lucky. The aftershock knocked him out cold again.
Seeing this, Gowasu quickly teleported to Zamasu's side and brought him over to Kusu, the Angel.
"Miss Kusu, please help him."
Kusu nodded, gently raised her staff, and waved it.
A healing green light enveloped Zamasu's body, slowly closing his wounds. After a moment, he stirred and groaned.
"Damn those humans…" he muttered weakly.
"Zamasu! Is this how I taught you to behave?" Gowasu scolded sharply.
Zamasu, finally realizing he was no longer on the battlefield, lowered his head and murmured an apology.
Meanwhile, Rumsshi stared at Paragus, clearly surprised.
"That punch was no fluke. This human is stronger than he looks…"
He frowned. "But don't think you can act recklessly in the realm of the Gods of Destruction just because of that!"
"Drink!"
Rumsshi released his full power, a majestic purple aura erupting from his body.
Paragus met his glare. "Hmph! I'm not afraid of you!"
With that, he dashed forward again, and the battle resumed.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The two fighters moved so fast they were nearly invisible, their punches echoing like thunder. The sky above the God Realm trembled.
Gowasu watched in shock. "How can a human have such power?"
Zamasu, still groggy, watched with gritted teeth, resentment flaring in his eyes.
Bang!
Paragus managed to land a kick squarely on Rumsshi's huge pink nose.
Rumsshi snarled, rubbing it with his thick fingers. "You'll pay for that!"
He disappeared and reappeared in front of Paragus, driving a heavy punch into his chest.
"Ugh!"
Paragus screamed in pain as his body was sent flying backward.
Swish!
Broly reacted instantly. In a flash, he appeared beside his father and caught him midair.
He looked down at Paragus's sunken chest, fury burning in his eyes.
Rayden reached into his storage ring and tossed Broly a Senzu Bean. "Give this to him."
Broly helped Paragus eat the bean, and his injuries healed instantly.
Broly turned, seething. "You damn elephant! I just wanted to see how strong you were. But now? I'll beat you half to death!"
His aura exploded.
Lightning surged around him as a furious storm gathered.
Broly's hair turned silver-white and grew long, reaching his waist. Silver fur covered his chest and arms. A long, silver tail flicked behind him.
He had transformed into Super Saiyan 5!
Without a word, Broly launched himself toward Rumsshi.
Kusu's eyes widened. "This one is even stronger than the last…"
She tilted her head, curious. "Just which universe are they from?"
"You dare call me a 'dead elephant'?!" Rumsshi bellowed. "No one talks to a God of Destruction like that!"
He raised his energy, preparing for a fight.
The battle between God and Super Saiyan 5 had just begun.
