Sylvia POV
"What is your name?"
"Why do you want to know?" He questioned at first. "Kai.My name is Kai." My blood froze,chills ran down my spine in no small quantity.He couldn't be the man known as thunder. "Kai Caderro?" I probed further to confirm if he is while also hoping he isn't.I mean, he could be a namesake right?
"You aren't all that clueless Sylvia" he smirked.Is this the first time he called my name? I don't remember,but why does it sound extra lovely and pleasant? Argh! That's not the issue now.The problem now is that am sitting in front of the man my father dislikes or hate the most.And from what I know,it has been that way for generations as they were rivals going head to head in a tough,heated competition for the sole power and control of the underworld.
Things isn't as pleasant as it used to be for my family.It started when my father took over from his father,my grandfather.Everyone knew he wouldn't be as tough, ruthless and productive.I knew we were having a little ups and downs but I never knew it was so serious to the extent he had to borrow money from someone he didn't like.
"It's a lot of money.Do you really don't want to take my offer?"
He was silent for a few moments. "Indeed it is....but I am not broke like your father.Its nothing to me" he shrugged, mocking my dad.
"Fucking disgusting psychopath....why did you give him the money in the first place? Was it to get me? Were you smitten by me that you had to lend money to your enemy?"
He narrowed his eyes at me, a smirk on the sides of his lips.I want to smack it away so bad. "You're quite the beauty I must admit but don't delude yourself to think that you are all that."
"I may be,since you want me....instead of your money. Isn't she enough?.....the girl sucking you a while ago?"
He raised an eyebrow. "Do you wanna be her? I'll let you."
I violently pushed the chair back making it scrape against the floor.Creating an unpleasant noise. "Enjoy your dinner asshole!" I was about to leave then I was suddenly pushed against the wall.I winced as my back hit the wall behind me.
In front of me stood Kai a very few inches away from me.He held my hands above my head while the other held my chin in a firm grip.He the was so close i felt his body heat.And it made me uncomfortable.
"Get away from me you psycho!" I screamed in terror.But he did the opposite.He closed the little gap between us and was now literally grinding on me.
"Behave.I am yet to punish you for what you did the other day" he breathed out huskily. "Shoot me back if it'll soothe your bruised ego" I meant it.I was no newbie to gunshot wounds.I had been mistakenly shot twice during training as a mafia kid.
He let out an evil smile that was very unsettling. "I have a better idea"
