Chapter 15 - 15. Attract zombies

John wasn't sure how many zombies were out there, but he saw the horrific scene of zombies gnawing on human corpses.

"Maybe, we can wait a little longer, maybe there won't be so many zombies!"John suggested, standing next to Jeff.

Jeff rolled his eyes and wanted to look down on him, but when Jeff turned his head and saw the supermarket door at the bottom of the stairs, he suddenly had a good idea!

"We can attract all the zombies there!" Jeff pointed to the passage behind the supermarket door and said excitedly.

Behind the supermarket door was the passage they had just cleared, which could only accommodate one person.

Ordinary zombies had no intelligence, and driven by their bloodthirsty desires, when they saw a passage where they could see human flesh and blood, they would definitely go directly into the supermarket.

If this method is feasible, Jeff and his four companions will only have to face one zombie at a time.

With the convenience of the terrain, they can definitely save time and kill the zombies safely.

"Young people are really quick to react and find a good solution so quickly. Let's go back and reorganize the pedestrian passage first!" Charles was very excited.

He was always interested in how to fight.

So the four of them returned to the supermarket, reorganized the sundries behind the door, replaced them all with hard and heavy refrigerators, and built a solid "refrigerator wall".

They found rice in the supermarket and put it in the refrigerator, filling all the gaps with rice to increase the weight of the refrigerator, so as to prevent the zombies from being too powerful to break through the defensive wall.

At the entrance, they reserved a passage that only one person could enter and exit, and reserved refrigerators on both sides of the passage to block the entrance and exit in case of an accident.

When everything was ready, Jeff got out of the narrow passage and prepared to attract the zombies.

His method of attracting zombies was simple.

He took a stainless steel basin from the supermarket, ran to the steps at the exit, and knocked hard!

Whether it was the zombies wandering in the square or the two zombies gnawing on the corpse, after hearing the sound, they immediately turned their red eyes to Jeff and ran over at a very fast speed!

Jeff saw the zombie coming and immediately ran to the supermarket, knocking on the stainless steel basin as he ran.

The zombie let out a hoarse roar, and it was unclear whether it was excited or angry!

The zombies chased after them quickly, perhaps because they were going too fast or perhaps because they were not used to walking up stairs, several of them fell down the stairs.

"Go!go!go!"

After Jeff entered from the pedestrian passage, he immediately worked with John to block the inside of the passage, forming a long and deep high wall surrounding the entrance.

The wall is 2.5 meters high, which is just within the range that the zombies can reach but cannot launch an effective attack.

Jeff and his team can stand on the steps behind the high wall and easily attack the zombies' heads.

A hole is deliberately left at the bottom of the high wall to deal with the bodies of the killed zombies.

This design was made by Charles in a very short time and it looks perfect!

Just as the entrance was sealed, the first zombie rushed in and crashed into the refrigerator.

Human flesh and blood was right in front of it, but it couldn't eat it.

The zombie roared angrily, and its sharp nails scratched the refrigerator, making a harsh sound.

This zombie was just gnawing on a human corpse, so there was a lot of blood on its body and it gave off a bad smell!

Before anyone else could react, Jeff stabbed hard with the sword in his hand.

The sword went through the zombie's mouth and came out from the back of its head.

But the zombie was not affected, still howling, stretching out its arms to grab Jeff!

At this time, two more zombies rushed in. Because of the pedestrian passage, the three zombies lined up in a straight line and stood crowded in the narrow passage.

The zombies' powerful strength caused the refrigerator to shake and it might fall down at any time!

Jeff was shocked when he saw this!

"Shit! What are you doing? Killing !"

He cursed angrily and drew out his sword.

He chopped the first zombie with the blade of the sword, this time chopping off half of the zombie's head, and the zombie fell down completely.

Hearing Jeff's roar, Charles and Nicole, who were standing on both sides of the aisle, took action at the same time.

Nicole's "weapon" was a wooden stick taken from a mop, which was completely innocuous.

Zombies have no sense of pain, and their only weakness is their heads.

You can only kill zombies by smashing their heads or chopping them off!

Nicole hits the zombies with a stick, which basically does nothing.

This isn't whack-a-mole, this is combat!

Charles' weapon was better, it was a fire axe, and he used it very steadily, aiming at the zombie's head and chopping it off in two strokes!

Charles was very efficient, but Nicole was not.

Jeff immediately adjusted the arrangement and shouted to John and Nicole: "You two switch positions, John will chop the zombies with a big knife, and Nicole will be responsible for dragging the corpses into the supermarket from the hole below!"

Now that the danger was reduced, John was not afraid. His big knife was long and heavy, and he stabbed down from a high position, almost hitting the target with every strike. The zombies did not know how to dodge, and were stabbed by John's big knife and suffered many wounds.

Jeff was standing facing the zombies, and was mainly responsible for killing the zombies that were stabbed by John but not dead.

After killing three zombies, Charles felt a little tired, so he simply jumped off the wall and helped Nicole clean up the fallen bodies.

When he encountered zombies that were not completely dead, he killed them directly with a fire axe.

Maybe it was because of yesterday's training, or maybe it was because the current fighting method was more exciting, Nicole and John did not vomit like they did yesterday.

Instead, they looked solemn and busy with nervousness.

John in particular was very excited holding the big knife.

He kept slashing at the zombies with the knife and shouting.

After the initial confusion, they gradually found a way and began to cooperate tacitly.

Jeff and John were responsible for killing the zombies, while Charles and Nicole were responsible for hooking the corpses through the hole with the clothesline.

Because the pedestrian passage is very narrow, if the bodies are not cleared in time, the zombies behind will not be able to get in. They need the energy crystals in these bodies.

"After the zombie dies, the energy crystal must be taken out within half an hour, otherwise it will disappear."

"Nicole continued to deal with the corpse at the entrance of the cave, while Charles was responsible for splitting the skull with a fire axe to find the energy crystal."

After making the new arrangements, Jeff saw more and more zombies gathering outside the supermarket, probably attracted by the zombies' roars and the shouts of their talking.

The number of zombies now far exceeded the 16 they had seen in the square before.

It was probably because the zombies in the surrounding streets were also attracted to the supermarket entrance.

Jeff was not afraid, but the more zombies there were, the happier he was!

The probability of zombies producing energy crystals is only 1%.

If there are not enough corpses, it is impossible to find enough energy crystals.

This hunting operation is a teamwork, everyone has contributed, and Jeff is a team. If the number of crystals is not enough, then Jeff cannot take away all the energy crystals.
