After creating some half chances on the counter, Montlouis finally created their first chance of the game. Their defensive midfielder stole the ball from Tiago's legs and started driving forward, then sent a pass out wide to the already sprinting left back of his team.
The left back got the ball and drove forward with it, sprinting down the flank until he was in the final third of the pitch. He then slowed down and sent a pass to the center of the pitch, to his team's attacking midfielder. The attacking midfielder looked like he was about to shoot, but he did a dummy, allowing the ball to roll to his team's right winger who was already inverting towards the center.
The right winger took one touch with his left leg to bring the ball under control, then drove towards the center of the penalty box, using his left foot to strike a venomous shot towards the far post when he was about to get blocked by Monaco B's center backs.
