Victor stepped into his dorm room and lay Luke on the bed. He took out the two basic, low-grade healing potions. He carefully poured one into Luke's mouth. A green glow covered Luke's face, his bleeding stopped, and his wounds closed a bit. His shallow and ragged breathing relaxed.
Victor took out a clean cloth from Luke's shelf and soaked it in water, and properly cleaned Luke's face. Luke lay unconscious on the bed, wincing in pain now and then. After Victor was done with Luke's face, he exhaled and slumped back on his bed.
Knock, knock!
His eyes opened with a knocking sound from the door. He walked toward it. As he swung the door open, before him were two dwarves, his group mates.
"What happened?" Victor's eyebrows furrowed.
"Ahem! The people from the disciplinary committee are standing at our dorm gate, calling for you." One of them replied.
"What? Why?" He exclaimed.
Both dwarves pointed at him.
"That bitch!" Victor gritted his teeth.
Both dwarves, one girl and the other boy with light brown messy hair, stared at him sympathetically. The girl said in her squeaky voice, "My name is 'Nana the Amber' and he is 'Thrum the iron'."
Both of them saluted together with fists on their chest. They chanted in unison, "We, the Dwarves of Naria, the Metal Lords of Neero world, will be your friend from now on. We swear on the Hammer God that until you betray us, we'll never break the bond and trust."
Victor's jaw dropped, and his eyes widened at them, "What are you talking about?" He shouted in confusion.
"There's no time, go report to the discipline committee," Nana said in an urgent voice.
Victor gave a nod in bewilderment and strode toward the outer gate. What was all that? Hammer God? Did they just make an oath or something?'
As he stepped into the lounge, all the cadets of his faction turned toward him. Their eyes were filled with concern. It felt like they considered him one of them. Everyone gave him a nod as he moved toward the gate. He nodded back at them with a puzzled look.
The gate opened up, and he walked out. In front of him was First Lieutenant Mona Amryl, wearing an official uniform with two soldiers standing beside her.
"How is Elf now?" Mona asked as soon as he walked out.
Victor sneered, "He didn't die."
Mona nodded, ignoring his tone. She continued in her neutral voice, "You have broken the rules. You didn't show proper respect to your superior. You have been fined 1000 CP or 7days in the isolation cell."
"What!" Victor exclaimed.
Mona's eyebrows furrowed as she was interrupted by Victor once again. She snapped, "Choose!"
Victor backed away as a powerful aura surged out of the Mona like a storm. He could feel his heart gripped by the illusory claws and a mountain-like weight pressing on his shoulders. His knees bent, and a muffled groan escaped from his mouth, "Ugh."
"1st Lieutenant…please….control your aura," one of the soldiers shouted as they fell on the floor. Mona glanced at them and frowned. Gnashing her teeth and stomping her foot, she retrieved her aura.
Victor took a relieved breath as pressure vanished from his body. He stood up with trembling legs. He willed it, and a crimson panel appeared before his eyes. He glared at Mona and asked, "Who should I transfer the CP?"
Mona's scowling face changed into a smirk. She replied, "Me, of course."
Victor nodded at her, his eyes blazing. He clenched his fist. He clicked on the panel, and another panel popped up.
Ding!
[1000CP transferred to Mona Amryl, follower of Gaia.]
[CP:10 (remaining)]
Victor looked at smiling Mona and turned around, walking toward the dorm gate. "It's a pleasure doing business with you, but remember next time it won't be this easy," Mona shouted in a pleased voice.
Victor grumbled and entered his dorms. The door closed behind him. "Bitch!" He shouted as he reached the lounge.
"You should be happy that they didn't send you to an isolation cell. That's the worst place you can be." One of the Elves said, and all the senior cadets nodded with horrified faces.
Nana and Thrum came forward and asked, "How much CP did those greedy humans take from you?"
"1000CP," Victor replied, seething.
Gasps echoed!
"1000CP, they really tried to throw him in an isolation cell," a shout came out from the crowd.
"Yes, if Mr. Victor hadn't had 1000CP, he would have been thrown into the isolation for 1-2days at least," Nana shouted furiously.
"No, it was 7days isolation or 1000CP. Not one or two days," Victor shook his head, correcting Nana
"What!" Nana exclaimed
Another wave of murmurs passed through the crowd.
"Humans are always treacherous and greedy. Amryl Family should be wiped out from the Neero," Thrum bellowed in his heavy voice. Victor sighed and observed everyone's face, 'I'm glad that someone thinks that I belong to their group.'
A small smile appeared on his face, "Thank you, everyone, for the support, but I have to wake up early in the morning for training. So, let's have a proper conversation some other time. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Victor." Several sounds replied in unison.
Victor smiled and walked toward his dorm room. Luke was still resting, Victor collapsed on his bed, and closed his eyes.
'Mona Amryl, Amryl family rules here in the academy? No, I think all the nobles rule. I don't think I will be able to live here for long.
Let's not think about it, get a little sleep, and wake up in the morning.

...
Squelch!
"Argh…Luna!" a young man screamed, clutching his chest with a fist-sized hole.
Before him stood a girl with crimson eyes and a sadistic smile.
She squashed his heart—
