About a month ago, there was a flood near my area. We shifted to a safe place for some time, and after things seemed fine, we moved back home. But a day ago, it happened again, this time at night, without any warning. The water came fast, and we had no time to react.
I'm writing this just to get some of the stress off my chest. Maybe sharing it here will help me calm down a bit. We've again moved out of our house and are staying in a small rented room now.
Things are honestly bad. Some people are taking advantage of the situation. A few houses of our relatives got looted after they left to move to safer areas, people came in boats and took everything they could find, even doors and iron parts. It feels like something out of a horror movie.
I'm 18 years old and live in a remote area, not a big city, so it's been really hard dealing with all this. I don't really have any friends, and I mostly spend my time on Webnovel, reading, writing, and talking to you all here. This community has been my only real escape from everything happening around me.
For now, I'll have to pause uploading chapters. I didn't expect this to happen again, or I would've scheduled some. Right now, there's no electricity, and the mobile signal is barely working. I'm writing this from my phone.
