"This could lead us to Black Moon's hideout!" Mom pulled her arm free. "We can't just ignore it!"
"We can and we will. The twins almost died today. Killian's possessed. You're an emotional mess. This is not the time for exploration."
"Oh, we are going to explore as many times as we want as long as it leads us to the right track."
"Or we pause to use our brains instead of chasing after every single clue!"
They were fighting again. Mom’s voice getting higher than his. Same argument as before just with different words.
I looked at Diana. She looked back at me, mischief in her eyes.
"Should we just go look?" she whispered.
"Mom and Dad would kill us."
"They're busy fighting. They won't notice."
"That's a terrible plan."
