There was no way Killian just threw away the only thing that could save him.
Why would he do that? Why did he give the cure to me?
So many thoughts ran through my head. Killian hated me to the core, and I knew he wouldn’t just give the cure for nothing.
Was he expecting something from me? Was he thinking that Samantha would like him more if he sacrificed the only thing that would keep him alive just to impress her? But that thought seems foolish, though.
So f*cking foolish!
If he wanted my wife, he would just wait until I died from the curse and take her away from Silver Crescent. But he didn’t do that. Instead, he gave me the jade blade. And I couldn’t understand why. What was his purpose in saving me?
I looked at Killian, and his eyes didn’t leave Samantha. My wolf was telling me he was a threat to me and my mate. It was obvious that he still wanted my wife. But how could I hate him when he was doing it for her and the twins?
