Chapter 1 - Who Am I?

It's hard to realize everything comes to an end ,yes, we believe it since childhood but never understand the true weight of it at the moment .Time is surely a furious rival ,it makes this concept clear to minds of every tradition and culture, and it has recently pushed me out of my comfort zone .Who am I ? or What am I ? The simplest answer is a human, but what even is a human? An extraordinary spieces ? Why? What makes us soo special ? If something is chiefly present,is it still considered to be special? To someone like I, humans are just masses of meat that can talk and walk ,but this is obviously too simplified .We have a mind .Maybe let's start with this, humans have a mind, we can think and make decisions. But so can other species, I haven't seen any animal that doesn't do the same? What could it be then that distinguishes us from other species? Maybe communication, we humans have communication skills. We communicate our desires with one another but so can animals right? Maybe it's because we evolve and learn at a faster pace , yes maybe, that's it at least what I understand so far. Humans have the ability to learn at a faster pace ,I guess we just don't start dying when we start getting the basis of complex concepts .Humans have come so far, we have lent our knowledge to our descendents. From the first round wheel to a blazingly fast car sure took time but is unattainable for other species.Humans have built large complex systems that other species can never understand ,we also tend to keep track of things like age or wealth ,things that matter; this is a symbol of awareness. If survival was all that mattered we wouldn't have progressed either. Humans are curious, "Curiosity killed the cat," they say but maybe that's what made us human in the first place. Our minds judge, find patterns, just as my mind is curious to fill in my spot to an unknown system. We humans protect ourselves from harm but so do animals, but we aim to protect both physical and mental harm.Mental harm? Humans are emotional too.Emotions are something we build over time ,an ability to decide without any influence of logic. It sounds dumb as minds are what make us superior to begin with ,are emotional people dumb? This seems about right maybe humans really are superior .

"Justificaton" , a natural trigger to prevent my mental state from harm.Is it really right though ? We live in a world filled with criminals , inflation , injustice ,inequality ,in a world that has started to rot due to us .Being protected by all means ,with minds that justify their superiority .Are we really smart if we destroy habitats of other species and deem ourselves worthy of equality? Is human sense of justice something grounded to humans only ? Animals do the same ,so are we really smart?Criminals? We have unlocked a food chain amongst a singular species? If structures and logic were our speciality, why did we still end up here? Maybe because we are diverse. Minds are influenced by their enviorments ,some use fuel for lamp other to deploy tanks ,some think of progress while others dont want to walk anymore .Humans desire what they haven't attained and hate the constant even if valuable. We build divides for entertainment , curiousity leans either ways .If it was to better sutain ourselves we would have been busy finding solutions for ourselves(humans), but we got bored in the process so we fought for gender, racial rights. From a distance, I see ourselves as paranoid beings raining tyranny on others. If our focus was development we would be justifying only ,we would have compared our thoughts but ended up in a divide .We seek peace and harmony by seeping others,in the name of justice we do unjust acts we ourselves define the right and the wrong.

"The Right and The Wrong",a way of classyifying our actions .To me the right and wrong in a society is nothing but convenient and inconvenient acts .A society where beating others is a symbol of righteousness and helping others is wrong can exist, as I've stated earlier humans pass on knowledge ,knowledge crafted by their norms and preferences. The aztecs appriceated those who would sacrifice themselves and those around them but the time I live in, it is called murder. I am not saying that it is normal(because I am programmed differently),but it is the nature of humans. We deem those things wrong which we cannot bear upon ourselves, individually, and those things right which we desire of .

"Love",an emotional state of the desire .Love isn't real but most people fictionalize the idea of loving someone or something even though it is just a fecade .We lie to ourselves and deceive others but both the prey and the predator are comfortable with these lies.Love is nothing but an emotion and emotional state does not remain constant ,it either fades away or it evolves as other factors such as enviorment and knowledge evolve .In truth, true love is to evolve and develop, tolerate and appreciate what is offered and always find something that keeps pleasing you .Despite knowing this we act like fools, and it is bad_ it is_but humans spread such dieseases regardless .Yet again so much for smart beings ,acting on loose enslaved by their desires.

"Freedom",a classical term used while humans are to be defined.Humans are unconfined beings, they have the freedom to do as they please .But is it though? Right from the start we fight for freedom ,freedom movements have been recorded everywhere around the world on all the timestamps .Now why would it be that way? Ever wondered if someone wanted the freedom to control everyone? It sure is like a paradox but I assure you it isn't one .We act like beings capable of piercing through every boundry ,sail the seas , sour the skies ,float beyond gravity's pull and yet have borders to confine us .We demand for our freedom but let's think of it for a moment ,"YOU DEMAND YOUR FREEDOM" .If you and I were truly logical we would try to earn our freedom not demand our freedom ,as I've stated we are beings who have successfully accomplished to create a food chain amongst ourselves; you need to climb the chain in order to earn what you seek .Think of it this way if I am a manager and you demand raise from me I would just fire you but if you were someone special in the team I would listen to you, in fact there is a chance I would just give a raise occasionally. So, the question rises, are you really free?

"Justice",the assurance for a society of its norms being followed .To all those who might argue with my definition of justice, I want them to answer not being fueled by emotions but logic ,if justice is the serving of one's deeds then why does it vary across every border .Does humanity change? Or is it because the cultures and traditions change? We act like just beings,we act like we feel our societies pain but do we? I watch ants getting crushed under several foots daily ,I wonder who will deliver them their justice .We care about justice because deep down we worry if the same might happen to us.Our brains don't want to stay idle they are constantly thinking even when you think of nothing there is a thought .Maybe a horrifying thought of something bad happening to you because you heard of someone else going through it .There is a lot of relatability, right? You have similar cultures, similar societies, similar traditions, if they weren't protected, are you? We act like we care about it, but do we? We care about those who follow our traditions and our goals, why do you think "we", so-called "intelligent beings" take sides in wars, do the lives of opponents not matter? No, because we value our own more .We act like supporting everyone who follows our values but deep down it's only the fear making us act the way we act. If someone were to harm those who I truly care about I wouldn't be posting #JUSTICE, I would be running in the wild to find the culprit and yet might be unjust without knowing the full details of the event.

"Knowledge",the ability to know and learn something .The thing that makes us differ from other species_an ability that even stuns our own existence at times .Those addicted to knowledge stand frightened in the absence of it and those who never cared, stay joyful in its absence. We are the beings, who have had in every era the individuals who tried to attain knowledge along with those who straight up ignored it .The divide is vast , so vast that terms such as "Ignorance is bliss" is known to all .But what did we do with this huge ability at our disposal ,we modernized biology, physics, chemistry, and societies. Yes,it is true that knowledge has enabled us to save thousands of lives in a moment but it is also undeniable that we can take a thousand in a moment too_all thanks to knowledge. One of the few attributes that really differentiated us has also affected us, we ourselves call it "inhumane".So, is ignorance really a bliss?

"Social Beings", beings that live in communities. We are beings who communicate and develop our values, we protect each other_ transactional relationship; you protect I and I'll protect you .A trait even other species have ,well but humans might not have it any longer. It was one of the traits that helped us rival hardships and stay united, but we decided it wasn't valuable . Those who stayed together in order to protect each other now backbite about each other ,we raised threats for our neighbours, we have shrunken our boundaries such that our houses are now the limits. But what did we acheive from this modern approch? A sense of insecurity? Depression? Anxiety? How did superior beings such as us could make such a big blunder? We like to be seen as smart but we don't admit to our mistakes, we blame them on others. Do you really think your ancestors were fools to establish a system that doesn't work? If their designs would have been a failure your blood wouldn't have made it so far. We started adopting digital societies, we found our comfort zones in them_with fragile egos that shatter when faced with reality, instead of standing tall to our failures and learning from them we now leave the groups. And what did that leave us with? Lack of tolerence or maybe something we can't even state?

"Emotional Beings",We are driven by emotions — whether it's love, joy, rage, excitement, fear, or one of the many others we experience. Emotions have helped humanity in countless ways. You know that warm, happy feeling when you give something to someone in need? That's dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin — all lighting up your brain. But let's not just look at one side of the coin. We've also used emotions in manipulative ways since day one. Even now, social media is programmed to keep those same chemicals pumping, keeping us hooked like rats in a spinning wheel. There are literally businesses built around selling a false sense of happiness. Don't believe me? Look closely at the shiny ads, the colorful short-form content, the sad songs with comments like "I cried for 6 hours listening to this." They're all chasing your attention through your emotions. It's gotten so bad, people have started developing fake emotions. What are those? Emotions that don't actually mean anything in it's existence— they're just mental, and sometimes even that's borrowed. We've lost the connections that trigger real feelings. Now it's about keeping up — you fear missing out, so you mirror what others show(mirror neurons). Remember that sad music? The comment under it becomes a blueprint. Now, every time you hear it, you feel sad — not because you are sad, but because your brain's copying the feeling. You think you're thinking of nothing? Be honest — you're thinking of something.

So who am I? In short I am a human. But we know we aren't constants, so truly… who am I? I am someone who isn't right, someone who isn't knowledgeable about everything but I am certain about one thing, and that is: I know nothing, someone who likes to sleep with a thin sheet in freezing cold weather, someone who fears the absence of knowledge, someone who still has to learn how to admit his mistakes, someone unaware of his surroundings, someone who has the ability to tolerate and to learn, someone who cares about someone… and is cared about by someone, regardless of transactions, someone trying to earn his freedom, someone who trusts his ancestors and will try to earn the trust of those who come after him,

but most of all…

I am someone with no one to blame.
