Chapter 6 - Rift

Chapter 6: The Rift

The shadows of the Hell Domain trembled as Hades returned, the scorched ground beneath his feet smoldering with the power of his recent victory. In his hand, he gripped the Void Oar—an obsidian-black relic glowing faintly with a deep violet hue. Its weight was oppressive, yet it pulsed with immeasurable power. The moment he entered the Domain, a gust of corrupted wind surged from the edges of the underworld, howling like a beast awakened from slumber.

Taylor, the spirit born of the staff and now watching from a suspended plane of dimensional awareness, hovered silently as Hades approached the central altar. The Void Oar had chosen him, but it had not yet accepted him.

"It won't let you absorb it," Taylor's voice whispered. "Not without consequences."

Hades narrowed his eyes. "Then I'll force it to understand."

He slammed the Void Oar onto the altar, a massive slab of brimstone carved from the deepest pits of Tartarus. The moment the Oar touched the stone, a surge of violet lightning shot out, streaking across the sky. The entire Hell Domain quaked. Hades extended his hand and placed it atop the Oar.

At first, nothing happened.

Then the Oar began to glow. Slowly at first. Then violently.

Taylor's voice echoed in alarm. "No! Something's wrong! The Void isn't syncing—it's rejecting you!"

The glow intensified, warping the space around the altar. The sky above Hell cracked like shattered glass, forming a spiraling rift of darkness and blinding light. Wind ripped through the underworld, and the dimensional barrier began to unravel.

The Oar detonated.

But instead of reducing Hades to ash, the explosion formed a tear in space—a chaotic rift that pierced the multiverse.

Hades rose from the altar, unharmed but seared with streaks of cosmic energy across his arms. In the distance, through the growing rift, he saw another realm.

It was the Marvel Universe.

Without hesitation, Hades stepped through.

The world on the other side was scorched and broken. It was the final moment of Asgard.

He saw Surtur, towering and flaming, preparing to bring Ragnarok to its end.

But before the blade fell, the air twisted.

Hades reached out, siphoning a fragment of shimmering blue-silver metal. Uru, the very substance used to craft Mjolnir and Thor's armor. It vibrated with raw celestial force. Along with it, other metals followed—Adamantium dust, slivers of Vibranium, fragments of Ebonsteel.

As Surtur's blade fell toward the dying Hela, Hades stretched his will.

"Mine."

A beam of death and void ripped from the rift, snatching Hela mid-motion, pulling her into his domain. She vanished, leaving behind a trail of shadow.

With her came a chunk of Asgard's ruined ground—its trees, broken stones, and most importantly, the remnant essence of her Death Domain.

Hades returned to Hell, the rift closing behind him.

Hela lay unconscious in the center of the darkened palace, her aura flickering.

Taylor emerged beside Hades, shimmering in humanoid light.

"You stole the domain of another god, Hades," Taylor said. "And brought her here. What now?"

Hades knelt beside Hela, lifting her with gentle care.

"I give her back what was taken. Her power. Her throne. Her right."

"And her heart?" Taylor asked.

Hades gazed at her face, serene even in unconsciousness.

"In time, yes."

The Hell Domain shuddered as a new force awoke. The Death Domain of Hela fused into the landscape like a seed into soil. From it, black roses bloomed, and ghostlight shimmered.

Hela, once goddess of death in one world, was reborn into another.

And she would rule by his side.

Together, they would reshape what it meant to dearth

Chapter 6: The Rift (Part 2)

Schematics of the Spoils

The Hell Domain no longer felt the same.

Where once only death and ash reigned, now a pulse of foreign divinity hummed beneath every stone. The air was heavier, saturated with layered energy, like three kingdoms pressed into one space and struggling to coexist.

In the heart of the obsidian palace—newly reformed from the molten pits—stood the Spoilstone, a jagged monument of black crystal taller than a titan and veined with glowing red-orange fissures. It wasn't there before. It had grown like a root tearing through time and space, born from the void-core's explosion. Its faces shimmered with ancient runes and diagrams not of Hades' world. It was a library, a seal, and a declaration all in one.

Taylor floated beside it, suspended in a bubble of spectral mist. Their form was fluid—sometimes cloaked in godly robes, sometimes armored, sometimes abstract. Neither male nor female. Both. None. A spirit born from the staff of Hades and tied to his dominion. They existed now as the soul-anchor of the staff and the keeper of the void's knowledge.

"Touch it," Taylor whispered. "And understand what you've taken."

Hades raised a hand. His fingertips brushed the crystal surface. The moment he made contact, lines of violet flame traced across the stone and erupted into cascading waves of schematics and glowing diagrams.

They floated midair like constellations, spinning slowly, revealing the prizes he had pulled from a dying reality.

---

[1. Uru – The Metal of Divine Purpose]

Origin: Nidavellir's Great Forge

Properties: Forged in starfire, Uru is a divine conductor. It not only holds enchantments—it amplifies them. It is the reason Mjölnir and Stormbreaker could bear cosmic laws.

Behavior: Responds to authority and belief. A willful metal.

Protector: Volkmar, Warden of the Forge Flame — a lava-born titan who guarded the dying forge with his molten body. In the moment of the plunder, he became a statue of obsidian, his spirit burned away by Taylor's sealing force.

---

[2. Vibranium – The Heartmetal]

Origin: Earth (Wakanda), Core Chamber

Properties: Absorbs all kinetic energy. Pure strain converts motion into harmonic resonance, allowing crafting of weapons and armors that can nullify force.

Behavior: Reactive to sound and vibration. When forged, it sings.

Protector: Bastet's Emissary — A semi-divine feline guardian of shadow and thunder, born from the Panther Goddess's breath. Its body dispersed into black wind when Hades invoked his authority of death over beasts.

---

[3. Adamantium – The Godbone Alloy]

Origin: Weapon Plus Program, Earth

Properties: Indestructible under known physical laws. Once forged, it cannot be reshaped. Carries the chill of finality. Best suited for divine bindings and edge-forged weapons.

Behavior: Static. Resists enchantment. Exists to remain.

Protector: Nexus Sentinel Omega — a biomechanical AI guardian with temporal foresight. It predicted Hades' arrival but could not alter fate. Its eye was taken and fused into Taylor's void-glass heart.

---

[4. Ebonsteel – The Soul-Caged Metal]

Origin: K'un-Lun's Forbidden Armory

Properties: Anchors the soul to the material world. Its presence in weapons allows strikes to echo through the spirit. Souls touched by Ebonsteel feel pain long after wounds heal.

Behavior: Hungers for resonance. Bonds to cursed wielders.

Protector: The Silent Monk, a former mortal who had transcended death through meditation. He gave no resistance—merely bowed as Hades passed, dissolving into dust.

---

Then, the crystal shifted.

The ground below rumbled—not with resistance, but with reverence.

And finally, the last diagram appeared.

---

[5. The Deathroot Plateau of Asgard]

Origin: Beneath Odin's palace, hidden beneath rune-sealed foundations. This obsidian-black land was the anchor of Hela's death dominion. It held her spirit, her legacy, and her wrath.

What Was Taken: The entire spatial foundation. The land, the roots, and the divine leyline that channeled the energy of dead Asgardians into Hela's power.

Current State: It is now merged with the lowest ring of Tartarus. Beneath the palace, the soil has turned blacker, denser. It radiates a pulse—one that feeds death-energy into the throne every hour.

Taylor whispered: "That... is not soil. It's godhood, made manifest."

Hades stood over the plateau. Violet-black roses bloomed around his feet. Their petals hissed with mist.

Each breath he took was a tide of soul essence. Each second, his power grew—not explosively, but steadily.

From the ground rose a transparent sigil—a rotating disk of celestial language that slowly translated into meaning:

---

Underworld Anchor Assimilation: Complete

> Source: [Deathroot Plateau of Asgard]

Effect: Daily regeneration of Divine Power Units

Allocation:

Hades: 1 Divine Unit / Day

Hela: 1 Divine Unit / Day

> Notes: 1 Unit = 0.01% of Total Reserves. Growth is compounding. Full recovery in approximately 1,000,000 days unless accelerated.

---

Hades exhaled.

It could've been two units a day, but the plateau had split its inheritance. With Hela now bound to his domain—and her body lying silently atop her ancestral soil—they were both chosen.

Not rivals.

Co-heirs.

The gods of death—twice born.

He stepped forward and looked to Taylor.

"Prepare the forge chamber. We will use what we've taken."

Taylor bowed. Their form split into twin reflections before vanishing into the palace's inner core.

Then came the final pulse.

From beneath the palace, the black Deathroot throbbed like a heart.

A voice whispered from below—not Hela's, not Taylor's.

But the domain itself.

It recognized its new master.

And far above the obsidian palace, the skies of Hell trembled.

Divinity had returned to the underworld.

And it had brought friends.

You deserve an explanation of his underworld to make part two make sense

📜 Healdomy: The Hell Domain of Hades

The Healdomy (a fusion of "Hell" and "Domain") is Hades' personal divine territory, encompassing the entire Underworld and now merged with the Deathroot Plateau of Asgard. This fusion gave rise to a new foundational structure of divine law and cultivation, forging the Healdomy into the most spiritually active realm in existence.

🔥 Core Features:

Deathroot Fusion: The section of Asgard known as the Deathroot Plateau, once the source of Hela's dominion, is now rooted within the Hell Domain. It constantly releases nether-death energy, reshaping the underworld's soil, flora, and air into divine-grade sources of cultivation and authority.

Power Accumulation: Due to the fusion, Hades and Hela now gain one divine power per day, a system calculated as:

1 divine power = 1/10,000th of total divine potential.

Originally it was two per day, but the power is now equally split due to Hela's integration.

Hell Blossoms: The black roses that bloomed at the merging site now serve as indicators of divine power awakening. When a new divine authority is gained, a single Hell Blossom blooms.

---

⚖️ Karma System of the Underworld

The Healdomy runs on a cosmic karma mechanism:

💀 Negative Karma:

Souls who died with great sins, curses, or debts are chained in the Abyssal Mirrors, forced to relive their deeds.

Their suffering generates Red Karma Embers, a potent currency Hades can use to reshape laws, forge divine tools, or create guardians.

⚪ Positive Karma:

Those who lived with great virtue enter the Silver Shore, a region of calm and rest.

Positive karma souls can be reborn as spirit servants, divine messengers, or even promoted into lesser gods under Hades' rule, depending on their record.

⚖ Neutral Karma:

These souls are kept in the River of Balance, suspended until their fate is decided.

The river filters and flows through all of Healdomy, sustaining the realm and refining impurities from divine power.

🌌 Extraordinary Elements of the Underworld

With the explosion of the Void Oar and the rift to the Marvel universe, Hades plundered rare elements, now hidden deep within the Healdomy. These materials are semi-sentient and divinely protected, requiring tests of strength, mind, and soul.

🪨 List of Extraordinary Elements:

1. Vibranium (Protected by Vora)

Appearance: Liquid mercury-like ore that vibrates in rhythm with the realm.

Ability: Absorbs and redirects energy and sound.

Protector: Vora, a six-eyed, panther-like spirit with stealth and nullification abilities. She appears to test one's silence and control.

2. Uru (Protected by Myrmion)

Appearance: Starforged alloy with deep blue-gold shimmer.

Ability: Amplifies divine constructs, reacts to will and intent.

Protector: Myrmion, an ancient golem of thunder runes, who tests craftsmanship and spirit-forging skill.

3. Ebonsteel (Protected by Krass)

Appearance: Pitch-black metal that hums with dread and weight.

Ability: Causes natural suppression in all divine beings weaker than the holder.

Protector: Krass, a cyclopean spirit who challenges authority, pitting Hades' claim of rule against other dominions.

4. Adamantium Dust (Protected by Nytheris)

Appearance: Floating motes of silver-gray sand that slice through time itself.

Ability: Cannot be destroyed; can be compressed into indestructible armaments.

Protector: Nytheris, a spectral time serpent. Battles involve loops of fate—only those with absolute will can claim it.

5. Void Shards (Protected by Taylor's Mirror Self)

Appearance: Violet-black glass-like shards from the Void Oar's explosion.

Ability: Can anchor spatial laws and break divine contracts.

Protector: Taylor's mirrored twin, a split entity born of instability, reflecting the user's inner flaw. It challenges self-identity and control.

👑 Purpose of the Healdomy Now

Sanctuary for Stolen Gods: Hades' dominion is now a safe haven for gods cast out or forgotten, like Hela. He offers not worship—but rebirth and purpose.

Trial of Elements: Each extraordinary element will require Hades and Hela to undergo a Divine Elemental Trial. Passing all may grant them a Crown of Multiversal Authority.

Divine System Evolution: Hades' goal is to create a new system of divine inheritance—where merit and karma, not just bloodline, determine power.
