Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Awakening.

As Minho and Yuna chatted at the table, the soft clinking of cutlery and laughter filled the room—until Seojun suddenly broke the rhythm.

"Dad, Mom… I have something to tell you."

His tone was calm, but serious enough to make both parents pause. Yuna glanced at him curiously and sat down across from him. Minho followed, leaning forward with a raised brow.

Seojun hesitated for just a second, then spoke. "I think… I awakened."

Yuna's eyes widened in disbelief. "What?"

But Minho, ever the seasoned Hunter, simply smiled. "Oh yeah? Then show me."

Seojun nodded. Of course, he had an arsenal of abilities at his disposal, but there was no need to reveal everything just yet. Instead, he settled on one of his oldest skills: Telekinesis.

He'd acquired it years ago from the system's monthly sign-in bonus. Back then, it was weak and barely useful. Now, it was refined—precise and potent.

"Let's head to the sparring room," he suggested. "It'll be easier to demonstrate there."

The family made their way to the training hall built into the lower floor of their home. As they entered, the walls lit up with soft blue runes—a subtle reminder that this wasn't just an ordinary house.

Seojun stepped to the center of the room. He closed his eyes briefly, focusing his psychokinetic field. Then, without lifting a finger, the room responded.

Training dummies rose into the air one by one. Then the dumbbells. Then the wooden swords. Then the ceiling lamps began to tremble.

Objects floated around Seojun in a controlled orbit, as if gravity itself had submitted to his will.

Minho let out a low whistle. "Well, I'll be damned… that's impressive ."

Yuna stood frozen, her lips parted slightly. "Seojun… when did this happen?"

"I've had it for a while," Seojun said as he gently lowered everything back into place with a wave of his hand.

Yuna sighed.

He turned to his dad with a grin. "So… does this mean I can join your guild?"

Minho opened his mouth, but Yuna beat him to it.

"Absolutely not," she said firmly. "You're ten. You're still a child."

Minho chuckled awkwardly and nodded. "She's right. Maybe when you're older."

Seojun had expected that answer. He gave a little shrug and smiled inwardly.

Minho ruffled his hair. "But hey, that doesn't mean I can't train you. We'll start some proper combat drills from tomorrow. Deal?"

"Deal," Seojun said, smiling inwardly 'Heh. My old man doesn't even know I could solo a dungeon'.

The rest of the Saturday passed peacefully. They had a simple family lunch together, shared laughs, and even helped tidy up the house. Seojun played with his two-year-old baby sister, Mina, who waddled after him with a wide grin and chubby cheeks, calling out his name in a garbled, adorable tone.

"Meeh-junnn!"

He lifted her up and spun her around as she giggled, clinging to his shirt.

For now, this was enough.

Year: 2019

Five years slipped by like a leaf on the wind. The world adapted. The gates stabilized. Hunters became celebrities. Guilds rose to power. And Korea now had eight recognized S-Rank Hunters.

Not counting Seojun.

Inside a quiet classroom, a young man sat near the window, eyes glazed with boredom. The sunlight spilled across his desk, reflecting off his school ID: Choi Seojun, 15 years old.

Though only a teen, Seojun looked far older—his sharp features and composed demeanor made most people mistake him for an 18 year old. He rose academically too. After all, when your intelligence stat was off the charts, getting skipped ahead became routine.

Around him, students chatted and joked, completely unaware of the walking anomaly sitting in their midst. Girls stole glances his way, whispering behind textbooks. He noticed but ignored them.

Seojun leaned forward, resting his chin on his palm.

"Man, I'm bored," he muttered under his breath. "Canon doesn't start for another five years… I could wipe out the Monarchs right now if I wanted."

It wasn't arrogance—it was fact.

Last year, he'd received a system quest that rewarded him with something that could only be described as god-tier.

The classroom door slid open.

Their teacher walked in, holding a stack of files. "Alright, everyone, settle down."

Seojun sighed and straightened up.

Another normal day in the life of someone far from normal.
