Shinji said nothing, for he had seen far worse during the days of the Indomitus Crusade:
Mass cannibalism...
Chaos worship...
Patricide, infanticide, matricide...
To him, this was nothing new. What made him curious were the ears sprouting from the side of the little girl's head:
Sharp and pointy, just like the Drukhari rats whose heads he lopped off in the assault on Cephian IV
During those days, he had indeed slain over 2000 Drukhari rats; he knew, therefore, how those unholy bastards looked like - the little girl in front of him looked exactly like one, except more soft and innocent. He knew he should lop off her head, but he stopped.
For peering into her soul, he saw a bright white light, filled with innocence, and the need to aid people in whichever manner possible
Stopping himself, he retreated deep into his mindspace, ruminating over his final decision that would be imposed over the poor Aeldari. Though everyone was busy debating on how to save the poor child, only Morgan noticed how their 'leader' was busy debating on what to do...
Please...please save the poor child...
Though she did not know, her hands had clenched themselves so tightly, blood could be seen dripping onto her sleeves.
"Haaah... let's keep the child. She can stay with the three stooges until we can decide what to do with her. Mash, make sure that Le Raccoon and chaos incarnate over there don't act or make stupid decisions until I decide what to do with her. But the first question here is:
Where did she come from?"
"Master of Caster of Red, she came from my world..."
At Morgan's sudden revelation, everyone stopped what they were doing and turned around. "What do you mean 'from my world'? I thought that no one could cross worlds, unless they had special vehicles to pass through, like Shinji-san's ship, the Vinterkhold..."
Arms crossed, Gudako asked the important question that was lingering in everyone's mind. Stelle just stared at them blankly, not understanding what they meant. "Haah... Mou~, you know, newbie, that it's literally impossible for anyone to enter, or isekai, themselves into another world without some sort of divine intervention, right? That's because there are huge conceptual-level barriers at the edge of everyone's worlds; so basically, if you've not got permission or a huge amount of power, it's physically impossible to enter worlds other than our own. And even if you can, the Cosmic Horrors that dwell within will either rip you into shreds or take you as your new boy toy to play with. What we're seeing here is, impossibly, a stowaway who has somehow managed to bypass the Interdimensional barrier and land here. How did she do it anyway...?"
Suddenly, a bird-shaped shikigami flew by. "Emergency! Please stop what you're doing, and return to the Church, right this instant!"
Caren's panicking voice could be heard coming from the messenger, prompting everyone to stop what they were doing. Seeing the lifeless Caren this riled up put a sinking feeling in Shinji's stomach.
"Quick, let's go to the Church!"

What on earth could have caused the emotionless little twat to panic like that...?
As they got closer to the Church, the bad feeling Shinji had began to grow to the point he began to be tempted to unseal his Psykic powers, to peer into the thick tapestry of time and see what happened.
But he did not need to, for his answer came sooner than expected
For crawling from the Church came the foul stench of something Shinji knew all too well. A stench he hated to the bottom of his core...
IMPOSSIBLE! HOW ARE THERE SIGNS OF CHAOS DAEMONS IN THE CHURCH!
