Riley picked out a bottle of water from the fridge and closed the fridge.
She turned to leave, but came face to face with Theo.
"Holy hell, you scared me!" She jumped a little, completely startled.
"Didn't mean to scare you, but we need to talk?"
She walked past him. "Talk about what?"
"Really Riles?" He followed her out of the kitchen.
"Yeah, really. What are we talking about?" She asked again in a deadly serious voice.
"About me and you? About the other ni–"
"Keep your voice down!" She hissed through her teeth.
"Wait, what are you doing?" His eyes squinted, an accusation at the tip of his tongue.
"Not trying to scream for the whole world to hear we screwed."
"I think you did a whole lot of screaming already so it shouldn't–"
"Who is screaming?" Sidney Sinclair appeared in front of them.
Riley's face instantly lost its colour.
"Hello ma'am," Theo gave her a charming smile.
