Two nights before the night of the fundraiser, Meredith finally got her way.
"I love airports so much!" Meredith cheesed hard, as they waited in line to board their plane.
She was extra happy because since there were no direct flights to the states, they'd have their layover at Dubai.
Aveline had not stopped rolling her eyes. She only gave in because she was tired of the constant nagging.
But the goal was simple for her. Talk to whoever she needs to talk to, and then get the hell out of the States.
They made it into the plane, but Meredith wouldn't stop talking about how happy she was.
"You really are happy you got your way, aren't you?"
Meredith, seated next to her, turned to her with a bright, wide smile stretching her entire face.
"I like the bang look on you," she blurted.
Aveline's face squeezed into a deeper frown.
"I cut my hair into bangs a month ago. Are you just noticing?"
