Theo ran into Aveline as he ran away from Atlas.
He paused in his tracks and smiled immediately on seeing her. "Hello Ave?"
Aveline, who was on her way to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water, stopped on seeing Theo. "You're here quite late," she said.
He shrugged. "Used to be a norm, until my boy got married. Now I have to give him some space, you know?" His brows twitched.
She kept a straight face. "What do you want?"
His shoulders fell, as he released a huge breath. "I'm glad we don't have to go through all of the awkward conversations. Have I ever told you how great your intuition is?"
"What do you want?" She asked again.
"Okay fine. I heard you've picked up painting again."
She rolled her eyes. "Of course that's what you want to know."
"Wait, hear me out before you come to a conclusion. You remember how I used to buy Mr Parker's paintings when he wanted to remain anonymous?"
"Vaguely," she said in a bored tone.
