Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Rebuilding the Ninja School

"Alright, alright, enough with the pointless chatter. The Young Master has another matter for you to take care of!"

With a commanding pose, Jaxon planted his left hand on his hip and pointed dramatically at the aging Ninja School before him. "Find those construction workers and have them tear this place down. Rebuild it from the ground up. I want it to be high-end, magnificent, and dripping with taste."

He spoke as if ordering the construction of a palace.

"This is the cradle of future ninjas. Safety in construction and long-term usability are non-negotiable."

He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in before continuing with a touch of arrogance. "Put up a sign at the main entrance that reads 'Konoha Village Ninja Hope School'. And beside it, I want a monument. Make it clear that this school was funded and founded by me, the Young Master. Oh, and in the center of the school plaza, I want a life-sized statue of myself. The rest... well, handle it however you see fit."

Hatake Sakumo's mouth twitched slightly. He couldn't help but feel a strange sense of déjà vu.

Still, the funding was coming from someone else. If this Young Master wanted to decorate the place with statues and nameplates, it wasn't his concern.

After all, building a ninja academy wasn't particularly expensive.

In fact, given the current circumstances, ten million ryo was more than enough.

As that thought crossed his mind, Jaxon's lips curled into a pleased smile.

He didn't have the strength—or desire—to meddle with the major storylines of this world. But polishing the little flaws, improving neglected areas… that seemed harmless enough, right?

And the Ninja School? It was a staple of the world's development, not a divergence from the plot.

He was just… improving the infrastructure.

"This will still need the Hokage's approval," Sakumo interjected, always the wet blanket.

Jaxon, who had been grinning ear to ear, instantly deflated like a punctured balloon.

"No wonder this guy dies later," he muttered under his breath, clearly annoyed.

Choosing to ignore Sakumo, he turned to his assistant. "A-Fu, did you get all that?"

"Of course, Young Master. I've written everything down. We'll do an even better job this time," A-Fu replied respectfully.

At first, A-Fu hadn't fully grasped what Jaxon was trying to do. But once the instructions about the statue and the engraved monument came out, it clicked.

Jaxon burst into a loud, satisfied laugh. "Haha! Having money really is the best!"

To him, anything that could be solved with money wasn't truly a problem.

Although the war had only recently ended, and while his family was technically the richest in the Land of Fire, he wasn't quite sure how rich they still were.

Still, if things kept going this way, they might as well have a mountain of gold to burn.

"Next up… I'll have to talk to those old geezers," he muttered, glancing at the large tree standing solemnly in front of the school. His gaze grew serious.

Visiting the heads of the major clans wasn't something he decided on a whim.

Even before arriving at Konoha, this was part of the plan.

It wasn't a mission dictated by his system. It was something he wanted.

He had a simple, unwavering goal: to become the biggest, most powerful existence in the world—through money.

When he first discovered he had transmigrated into this world without any innate talent or ninja bloodline, he quickly came to a conclusion.

If he wanted to live comfortably, there were only two options: become unimaginably rich or overwhelmingly powerful.

And in most worlds—including this one—money equals power.

With knowledge of the future and a rich family backing him, what was the easiest resource to accumulate?

Wealth.

He had the foresight, the capital, and the connections. With all that, why bother chasing dangerous jutsu or training like a madman?

Just use money to fix the world's problems. It was the most efficient path forward.

Around Noon

The weather that day was perfect.

At least, for Jaxon, it felt like it.

The sky was overcast, but no rain fell. A gentle breeze swept through the village, light and refreshing. After enduring days of scorching heat, this was a rare and blissful reprieve.

It left him feeling... almost euphoric.

The technology in this world was strangely unbalanced. Radios, computers, TVs, and refrigerators existed—but no one had invented air conditioners yet.

They probably wouldn't appear for a few decades.

So in the sweltering summers, even the wealthiest had to make do with ice blocks.

But today's weather? Absolutely ideal.

Hyuga Clan Grounds

"That boy is coming to visit our Hyuga Clan today. What do you all think of this situation?"

In the grand hall of the Hyuga estate, eight people sat in a formal arrangement—four on each side—with only one man occupying the head seat.

He was a composed middle-aged man with flowing dark hair and elegant features. Unlike the muscular builds seen in many other clans, the Hyuga Clan emphasized grace, discipline, and aesthetics.

This man was Hyuga Tokuma, the current head of the Hyuga Clan—father of Hiashi and Hizashi.

The "boy" he referred to needed no introduction. Everyone in the room knew who it was.

All present were high-ranking elders of the Hyuga Clan, each as cunning as they were experienced.

"I believe he must have an objective," one elder began, his voice deep and calm.

He had white hair, a sharp gaze, and carried a wooden cane as a symbol of authority. "But this visit isn't likely tied to Xingye Zhu."

That name stirred murmurs of agreement.

"Our sources in the capital reported that Jaxon was born in Konoha Year 25, making him three years old now. He's the only son of Xingye Zhu, and his mother is the younger sister of the Wind Daimyo."

Everyone already knew the political power behind that combination.

"Though the Hoshino Family operates under a veil of secrecy, our intelligence uncovered key facts."

The elder tapped his cane lightly on the floor, continuing, "Jaxon is highly intelligent. At just three years old, his intellect already rivals a seasoned adult. He does nothing without purpose."

Heads nodded.

"From what we know, this child doesn't take action unless it benefits him. While we can't determine his goal in visiting the Hyuga Clan, we must tread carefully."

The elder looked around the room, his tone firm. "If we misstep, we might even arouse suspicion from the Hokage."

"I agree with Elder Huo," said another elder seated on the right. "This matter must be handled with precision. If he were just an ordinary child, it wouldn't matter. But this boy represents immense wealth and influence. He is currently the most powerful noble in the Land of Fire."

A heavy silence settled in the room.

This wasn't just about entertaining a child.

This was political warfare disguised as diplomacy.

Meanwhile, Outside the Hyuga Estate

Jaxon stood at the base of the stairs, hands behind his back, dressed immaculately. A-Fu stood by his side, holding a scroll of documents and gift boxes wrapped in elegant cloth.

"This place reeks of formality," Jaxon muttered, staring up at the ancient wooden gate of the Hyuga Clan compound. "But we'll play their little game."

He wasn't here to bow or beg.

He was here to negotiate—and more importantly, to let them know that money could reshape power in this world.

One step at a time.
