His eyes went darkened to full black, bottomless, before he blinked it away. The red bleeding back in as his his slammed harder into me. I arched higher, moaning, helpless beneath the force of him. I never wanted this to end.
"I haven't properly fed in days," he growled against my skin. His fangs descended, flashing in the dark, then piercing my throat.
I screamed. Pain and pleasure tangled into something unbearable, something exquisite. I've missed this. Missed him. He could take everything from me and I would still give him more, anything, if it meant he'd stay.
Then his hand slid lower, spreading across the swell of my belly.
The kick came sharp from the inside. My breath caught. His entire body went rigid. His crimson eyes widened, the hunger in them breaking, shattering into something rawer. A mixture of wonder, fear and awe. Like he had just touched a miracle he hadn't believed in.
