Chapter 6 - The lost friends

Damian walked forward, step by step, toward Alice.

The wind was still. The silence, too perfect.

Something was... wrong.

Then he saw it—

Alice, standing still.... eyes wide, trembling.

Before them lay a lifeless body.

Din was dead.

A breath caught in Alice's throat. His hands, once steady, began to shake. His gaze locked onto Din's unmoving form — the weight of it crashing into him all at once.

He staggered forward.

"Din...? No... no no no..."

The air around him felt like glass — cold and ready to shatter.

Then... footsteps.

A shadow fell over Alice.

He looked up, eyes red and wild — and saw him.

Mahir.

That same smirk on his face. Calm. Cold.

> "I killed Din," Mahir said flatly, like it meant nothing. "If you can… kill me too."

Alice didn't speak.

He didn't scream.

He moved.

Mahir vs Alice Begins

Alice lunged forward, a war cry trapped behind clenched teeth.

His foot swung upward — one kick, then another — sharp, fluid, full of rage.

But Mahir didn't flinch.

He blocked both with effortless precision, his eyes steady, body calm.

And then — SLAP.

It wasn't just a hit. It was a thunderclap in human form.

The slap hit Alice like a wave of concrete, and he crashed to the ground, dust rising around his collapsed body.

But this wasn't the end.

Alice rose.

His breathing ragged. Eyes burning with fury. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but he didn't wipe it.

His right hand clenched tight — spiked rings catching the light.

With a sudden scream, he thrust his clawed hand straight into Mahir's chest, the metal scraping against fabric and skin.

It landed.

Mahir blinked once, then smiled.

> "Finally," he said. "You've done something good, Alice."

Alice's pupils shrank. That condescending tone. That smile.

His rage turned white-hot.

He launched forward again and landed a hard punch right into Mahir's face, snapping his head to the side.

For a moment, it looked like momentum had shifted.

But then…

Mahir breathed out. Slowly. Controlled. His body twisted smoothly, like water turning to flame.

Five. Six.

Punches crashed into Alice's ribs and stomach, one after another — rapid, brutal, precise.

Each blow lifted Alice slightly off his feet. He grunted, blood splattering from his lips.

He staggered, but he didn't fall.

He looked up, one last time — dazed, defiant.

And then—

WHAM.

A blur. A gust of air.

Mahir's leg slammed into Alice's face with the force of a wrecking ball.

The sound cracked like thunder. Alice's body flew back, twisting in midair before crashing to the ground.

Silence.

Alice was down.

Fear in the Heart of Damian

At that moment, Damian arrived.

He saw Alice lying motionless. Mahir, standing tall — almost untouchable.

Damian's fists clenched.

"I'll stop you," he whispered.

He stepped forward…

But his legs trembled.

His breath caught in his throat.

His heart pounded, but not with courage — with fear.

His body wouldn't move.

No matter how much his soul screamed to fight, his body simply refused.

Fear had wrapped its hands around his spine.

The End of Crescent

The battle between the two gangs — WS vs CRESCENT — had come to its conclusion.

WS was victorious.

But the price for Crescent was steep.

Two of their own were gone.

Two lights extinguished.

Din and Rusle.

Their names would be remembered — but in blood, and in silence.
