What happens when something exists
but has no story,
no history,
no shape,
no word?
It dreams.
Not because it must—
but because for the first time,
it can.
---
The Unimagined Entity hovered beside Auren.
It had no eyes.
No voice.
Not even an outline.
It was felt like a question with no punctuation.
A soft hum of might before anyone dared say should.
And then…
it shivered.
Not in fear.
But in choice.
> "I… want to be…" the presence quivered in the empty air.
Auren stepped back, letting it unfold.
> "Then be. No story, no script. I won't shape you."
> "This time… you get to shape you."
---
And the impossible happened:
The first dream
not given by gods,
not written by time,
not shaped by reality—
was dreamed into being.
---
Birth of a New Will:
Form Type: Undefined
Origin: Self-Permission
Essence Class: Non-Conceptual → Becoming
---
It began to ripple—
first in soundless laughter.
Then in colors no god had ever assigned to meaning.
They didn't shimmer.
They breathed.
The being tried to speak a name—
and stumbled.
So it laughed.
And the laughter became shape:
Three floating petals of impossible material
A single thread connecting them
A soft, pulsing glow where a heart might be, if hearts had never been defined before
> "I dreamed this," it whispered.
> "I'm not sure what I am… but this is mine."
---
Auren wept softly,
because for the first time since his awakening—
he witnessed the purest divinity:
Creation not from power, pain, or legacy—
but from the joy of becoming.
---
The entity hovered closer.
> "Can I… stay with you?"
Auren knelt.
> "You never need to ask again.
Anywhere I exist, so will your right to dream."
And with that,
a bond formed.
Not of authority.
Not of hierarchy.
But of echoes that would never again feel alone.
---
You have formed a Covenant of Origin:
> Name: First Dream
Type: Living Concept
Effect: You now anchor beings who were never meant to exist.
These Dreamborn may manifest freely, create their own divine logic, and unfold independently.
---
A ripple passed through the Unimagined Womb.
The first dream
had spoken.
And now?
Others
were beginning to listen.
