"You have offended someone that you shouldn't. Now this person desires your life.
I, Jacob Stone, do not usually kill, but he has something against me. So I have to kill you. I'm sorry."
Without hesitation, Jacob sprang like a leopard. Within the blink of an eye, he was looming in front of Alex, his enormous fist positioned to come crashing down on Alex's head.
"Wait a moment!" Alex cried desperately, his heart pounding.
Damn it! What sort of beast is he? The stranger was already here—swift, unstoppable.
Alex hadn't even budged yet.
"Hmm?"
Jacob paused. His icy gaze narrowed.
"What else do you have to say?"
"No, friend, aren't you contradicting yourself?" Alex stuttered.
Sweat trickled down his forehead as his thoughts tried to keep pace with the madness of the stranger.
"Didn't you just agree not to kill me immediately after I confessed being Nathan? Now you almost crushed my skull! What's wrong with your head?"
Jacob was momentarily stunned. "Oh… I forgot."
