Leo grinned. "You don't hate me."
Yu sighed, pretending to be annoyed, but this time his voice was softer. "You talk too much."
"And you frown too much," Leo teased.
Before Yu could reply, An tugged on their sleeves. "Come on! Let's go to the swings next!"
Yu wanted to say no, but when he saw the excited look on her face and Leo already running ahead, he just rolled his eyes and followed.
It's hard being the only mature one here.
The swings were at the far end of the playground, a row of colorful seats that creaked gently as children soared into the sky.
An rushed forward, claiming the pink swing before anyone else could. "This one's mine!" she announced. Like anyone would fight over a pink swing with her.
Leo chuckled. "I'll take the blue one."
Yu stared at the empty swing beside them, the red one, and sighed. "Guess that leaves me no choice."
He sat down, gripping the chains. The metal was warm from the sun. When he pushed off the ground, the world tilted for a moment.
