Haoran's fist hovered over the room door, almost knocking. His jaw clenched as he heard faint murmurs and a voice far too familiar.
His eyes narrowed.
Without hesitation, he banged the door with force.
Tianyu flinched and couldn't help but add, "Boss, calm down. You might break the door."
"Zixuan, open the door this instant," Haoran commanded.
Inside the room, Zixuan's breath hitched. "What is he doing here?" he muttered, startled.
The omega blinked, confused. "Who?"
Zixuan didn't answer. He pulled himself away from the omega, cursing under his breath as the knocking continued.
The omega tilted his head. "Do you know the person outside?"
Zixuan glared at the door, sighing. "Unfortunately."
"Is he your friend?"
"No."
"Then why is he yelling?"
Zixuan's eyes darkened. That was a question he also didn't have an answer to. He walked towards the door and pulled it open.
Haoran was standing there, face furious, with his assistant looking confused.
