"I'll try to be better too, I do love you both even if I sometimes think I'm incapable of it." I say to Mia and Letty leaning into Mia first and placing a lingering kiss against her forehead, then pulling back and doing the same to Letty.
"So I have an idea, how would you both feel about setting fifteen minutes to an hour or two everyday to just talk to each other?" Mia asks Letty and I.
"I think it's a great idea Mia, but while working undercover I'm going to be staying at one of Tej's boathouses to keep this location as secure as possible…that also means I'd prefer it if you guy's temporarily stopped working at Tej's. Especially with all the law enforcement agencies around." I say to the two who reluctantly nod.
"So we'll just have to talk over the secured phones you made for us…" Letty offers and this time Mia and I nod in agreement.
"But Brian, I thought you wanted our help?" Mia asks me her eyes growing a bit misty while worry shines in them.
"I do and you will, just from a more hidden behind the curtains way." I say to her and stand up offering a hand to each of them, when they each take a hand I pull them to their feet and lead them into the lower living area of the Hauler and to a small closet, reaching the door pressing a button the door slides open for me.
Inside this closet are five of the ten camouflage body armors that are honestly more like onesies.
"Using these adaptive camouflage suits you guys can offer overwatch and support while staying mostly undetected." I say to the two and they both gasp while reaching into the closet both grabbing their general sizes.
"Woah!" Both gasp as they "disappear" from the room.
"What other cool gadgets have you been keeping to yourself?!" Mia asks me and just from her tone of voice alone without activating my special hud contact lenses and their special vision modes I know she's resting her hands on her hips and Letty's smirking while mimicking her.
"Well there are these…" I say and grab two containers off a small shelf holding a set of contact lenses like mine and hold my hands palms up to the girls one container each.
The girls take off their hoods and put in the contact lenses and gasp, then accidentally activate one of the vision modes and snap their eyes shut only to be overwhelmed by the sensory input still being given.
"Brian Help!" The two yell out as they start to panic, resting my hands on each of their shoulders, "Shh-shh-shh, you're both fine. All you need to do is blink rapidly three times to turn off this enhanced vision mode." I say in a gentle but firm voice and the two settle down instantly and do as I say.
'Guess my attempt at replicating the lenses still has some bugs…' I think as the two open then close their eyes before opening them again, "See all better." I say with a gentle and slightly teasing smile on my face.
"Shut up, Brian." Both Mia and Letty pout at my teasing while Mia reaches over and pinches my waist, Letty punches my left bicep.
"Heh." I express playfully and hug the two around their waists.
"So are we good, at least for now?" I ask the two and they both nod before standing on their toes and pressing kisses against my cheeks.

I wake up in the morning to Pilot-One using the intercom system in the Hauler, informing me that Tess is trying to call the phone that she gave me.
"Hey, meeting in three hours…they want us to use cars that they provide but they're jam-packed full of tracking devices that are worked right into the vehicles wiring…just figured you'd want a heads up." Tess informs me and I can't help but think about that fly ass EVO, The U.S. government is going to give me, or the Spyder Eclipse they're going to give Roman.
"Thanks for the heads up Tess, we can go through them, strip all the aftermarket accessories that the Feds dropped in them and do a proper tune/test run." I offer and hear a few soft laughs, one from Tess and then, Mia, Letty and Suki.
"That sounds wonderful Brian…see you soon." Tess sounds almost giddy but I don't know if it's an act or not.
"See ya, Tess." I say and hear a light laugh on the other end of the line before it clicks dead.
"You sound rather happy when you talk to Tess and your voice gets all soft and sweet when you say name." Mia points out and I roll my eyes at her before tackling her onto the bed.
"It's really not what you've got rolling around in that pretty little perverted brain of yours." I joke/tease Mia and give her a kiss before rolling off of her and standing up from bed, heading into the shower.
"Uhuh, I'm sure it's not…" Mia giggles/calls out to me on my way out of the bedroom.
'I miss living in the Hauler.' I express in a mental sigh at the much better quality rainfall shower in the Hauler than the ones we have in the warehouse.
Getting out of the smelling fresh and feeling clean I get dressed listening to girl talk, specifically about Tess and ideas at who she is and hear a few mentions of Monica.
Heading out of the Hauler nearly tripping over the…Supra, "Supra…you can still take Vehicle mode?" I ask and I don't have to pretend to be shocked. I didn't think deceivers/pretenders could take vehicle mode.
The driver's side door in the Supra opens and out flows a swarm of metallic tendrils and they form Supra's human alt mode.
"I-I can combine with my old body and separate from it whenever I want…Dad." Supra tells me and there seems to be a lot of attitude in her voice.
"That's really cool, Supra...hey I'm not mad at you, and for future reference you don't have to do the things other people do to fit in."
