"Contestants, you will be choosing your captain, and the captain will choose your opponent. This is how it will go. This is every man for himself. First person to land a mark on a Captain will win. We will move on from there. Any volunteers?" Silence. I sigh, and begin stepping forward, when suddenly, thwack! I feel someone push the back of my knee, and I fall to the ground. I look up and see the man from earlier, (with his fly still undone,) smirking down at me and stepping up. "Excuse me, I volunteer. Rage fills me as I stand up, take his arm, and judo flip him. I press my elbow to his throat. "Didn't your mother ever teach you to respect women?" I say, calmly smiling. He coughs as I take my elbow from his throat and help him up. "I volunteer." I say, pushing him back, then brushing myself off. I keep my tone low and calm. And I choose him." I point at the Big man from earlier, who stands in front of Asta. The man smirks. "I have a name, small fry." I look up at him. "I don't know it." He stands up, jumping off of the stage and landing in front of me. "You're not making a very good impression, young lady." I look up at him. "I wasn't told you all had to like me to pass the test. You all just said we had to pass. Could you pick my opponent now?"
"Feisty, aren't you?"
"Maybe so."
The man and I stare at each other, and everyone around us is silent. His grey eyes stare into mine intensely, but I don't budge. Finally, he chuckles. "Alright, small fry, you're on. I pick him." The Captain points behind me, and smirks. I turn around to see the man with his pants unzipped. I can feel my face redden with annoyance. I face the Captain again. "Funny." I say sarcastically. The man takes a step closer to me, towering over me with incredible confidence. "You and him get along well, eh?" He says. He lowers himself down by my ear, basically on his knees. "My name is Yami. Captain of the Black Bulls." I move my head away. "I won't remember it," I say flatly. He smiles. "You will after I'm done with you."
