Thick clouds churned, and lightning illuminated the sky, as if the heavens themselves were cheering for this battle.
Above Angel Plaza, on a massive floating cloud rock, Satori was covered in a chaotic assortment of Dial devices, resembling a twisted, mobile fortress. "Gagagaga! Even a pink dragon monster like you will be ground to dust by my mechanisms!!" he cackled, throwing out several high-pressure, spinning "Surprise Cloud Balls."
"Surprise Cloud Burst: Barrage!"
Pop—pop—pop—!
The cloud balls exploded, instantly releasing hundreds of deadly mechanisms into the air. Pitch-black flying blades swarmed like bees. Flaming poison snakes opened their mouths to bite and attack. Gunpowder rounds detonated one after another, creating fiery shockwaves. Giant gear-like rotors shrieked as they tore through the air. The sea of clouds had become a death trap, a vortex of poison flames, sharp blades, explosions, and twisting force.
SWOOSH—!!!
A pink shadow shot up against the onslaught, a wave of imposing Haki spreading out like thunder. Silver horns extended back from his forehead; his face was resolute, his eyes wild; draconic patterns covered his body, his scales like divine armor. It was Luffy, in his Pink Dragon Hybrid Form!
"Dragon Scales, Full Coverage!"
CLANG!!
With Luffy's low shout, pink scales rapidly spread from his shoulders across his entire body—chest, arms, throat, knees, elbows, even his skull—all encased in the scales of the pink dragon, emitting the heavy, dull sound of locking metal.
The flying blades struck—Clink! Clank! Clink!—without leaving so much as a scratch.
The poison snakes bit down—CRACK!—their teeth shattering, their heads exploding.
The bombs hit—BOOM!!—flames bursting against Luffy's chest, only creating a faint shimmer on his scales.
In the mist, Satori's pupils contracted in disbelief. "What?! This isn't just defense... this guy is a walking fortress!"
"Dragon Bone: Meteor!!!"
The muscles in Luffy's right arm bulged. Armament Haki and dragon scales merged, erupting in a brilliant stream of pink and black light. BAM!!! He became like a dragon-star falling from the sky, smashing into the center of the cloud platform with a shrieking gale.
Satori was horrified and frantically raised his Impact Dial shield. "Impact Dial: Max Repulsion Mode!!!"
BOOM!!!
The dragon fist and the shield collided head-on. A terrifying shockwave blasted a ring-shaped hole through the cloud platform, the aftershock destroying the cloud layer for a hundred meters around. Both were sent flying. Luffy flipped several times in the air and landed steadily, his scales unbroken, his fighting spirit soaring. Satori, however, crashed into a cloud-stone tower behind him, shattering the rock and his armor, his Dials scattering. He struggled to crawl out of the rubble, gasping for breath. "Cough... cough... this guy..." His face was pale, his lips trembling, but he still forced a laugh. "Hmph... even if a brute like you can take a hit, I can see your every move—"
"Mantra: Full Sense!!!" He snapped his eyes shut, activating his Observation Haki to perceive the battlefield's fluctuations. "I can predict your every attack!!!"
In the next second—
Swish!
Luffy was already in front of him.
"What?! How is he so fast?!!"
"Dragon Claw: Cyclone!!!"
The dragon claw, empowered by draconic strength and wind pressure, instantly sent Satori flying dozens of meters. He and his last remaining Dials were blasted through the cloud layer, smashing into the protective wall at the edge of Angel Plaza. "Gaaaah!!!" His armor shattered, mechanisms flying everywhere, and he collapsed like a pile of mud, spitting out a mouthful of blood and broken teeth. Even if his Mantra had sensed the attack's path, his body couldn't react in time. He couldn't dodge.
As Satori's vision faded, his last thought was: "This guy... is a monster..."
One of the four God's Priests had fallen.
On the high cloud platform, Conis gripped the edge, her voice trembling. "Mr. Roy, can they really win?"
Roy chuckled. "Don't worry. These kids were raised by 'Garp the Fist'!" His gaze swept across the battlefield as he murmured, "But... that Enel fellow hasn't gotten serious yet~"
Summit of the Heavens · Thundercloud Battlefield
Enel floated at the center of the lightning, his golden pupils locked on Ace, the electricity around him churning violently. The clash of fire and lightning had already torn the sea of clouds apart. He raised his right hand, lightning gathering in his palm like a divine spear, preparing to unleash a new round of "God's Judgment"—but in that instant, he suddenly shuddered.
"What?!"
"Satori was defeated so quickly?!" His expression changed drastically, his pupils contracting as his powerful Mantra sensed an anomaly on the battlefield: the auras of all four of his priests were rapidly fading, on the verge of disappearing.
Rage flared in his heart, and disbelief flashed in Enel's eyes.
Eastern Cloud Realm: An explosion of sparks erupted between the Iron Cloud Sword and the dual blades. Ohm roared as his sword rapidly transformed, attacking Zoro with blades, saws, and spikes, each strike enhanced by iron and predicted by his Mantra. "I can see your every move!"
"Two-Sword Style: Oni Giri!" Zoro roared, compressing his aura to its limit and forcibly changing his trajectory, attacking before Ohm could fully react. "Two-Sword Style: Iai: Rashomon!!!" In an instant, his swords crossed like the opening gates of a demon, slashing across Ohm's chest and leaving a deep, cross-shaped wound. The Iron Cloud Sword shattered into pieces. Ohm stared in disbelief, his knees giving way. "My Iron Cloud... how..." Zoro slowly sheathed his swords. "Your sword was too brittle." As the blade clicked into its scabbard, Ohm's consciousness collapsed.
Southern Cloud Realm: The platform was scorched black. Shura retreated clumsily, his last Heat Spear knocked away by Kuina's sword. "You can't escape! I can sense the airflow of your every jump!" he yelled, throwing out more rope traps. But Kuina moved like the wind, evading every mechanism with flawless footwork. In an instant, she drew her sword, her gaze like the moon. "Frost Moon Style: Moonless!" The blade flashed like a lonely shadow under a moonless sky, light and sharp. SWOOSH!!! Shura's eyes widened as the cloud ropes were severed and his coat was torn open, a fine, precise cut appearing on his chest. Blood spread from his heart as he was sent flying without a sound.
Western Swamp Cloud: Gedatsu skated on his Breath Dials, sneering, "You have space, I have speed! You can't catch m—"
"Is that so?" Law smiled coolly, his gaze sharp as he raised his right hand. "ROOM: Slaughterhouse!" The domain instantly expanded, covering the entire cloud region. Before Gedatsu could turn to flee, Law vanished. SWOOSH! He reappeared behind him, his cursed sword, Kikoku, glowing with blue energy. (He acquired Kikoku on a certain mission~) "Injection: Pierce!" The blade flashed, stabbing straight into Gedatsu's back. "Pfft!" The blade pierced his body, and blood spurted out. Gedatsu coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed.
High above, the lightning stalled. Enel floated at its center, his long golden earlobes still, the arcs of electricity at his fingertips jumping erratically. He stared down at the battlefield, his pride and confidence beginning to waver. "Four priests... all defeated in an instant?"
"How is this possible..." His pupils trembled, his mind reeling.
—Just then!
"Hey! Lightning Bastard—!!" A voice like a thunderclap exploded next to his ear. A figure wreathed in flames shot towards him, azure fire spinning and compressing in his palm to form a fiercely burning lotus.
"Losing focus in a fight can get you killed!"
"Great Flame Commandment: Explosive Flame Lotus!!!"
Ace roared, throwing the lotus. The flames blazed, and the azure light crashed into Enel's face.
BOOM!!!
The lotus exploded in the air like a sun blooming in the sky. The searing shockwave, like falling fire from heaven, instantly vaporized the cloud layer for hundreds of meters around. The dazzling light turned the entire sky red, the waves of fire tearing through the thunderclouds.
"Aaaaaah—!!!" Enel's figure tumbled in the flames, completely engulfed.
In the distance, Conis stood on the edge of the cloud platform, her eyes wide in disbelief at the blooming fire lotus in the sky. "They... they actually... defeated God?!"
But before she could finish—
RUMBLE!!!
The sky above suddenly changed. Lightning once again tore through the flames. An even more violent, more oppressive peal of thunder exploded across the heavens. From the center of the flames, the figure who was thought to be consumed suddenly erupted with light.
SWOOSH!!
Enel slowly emerged, his body wreathed in wildly crackling lightning, his face a mask of savagery. His face was burned, lightning flowing under his reddened skin, but his eyes burned with a towering inferno of rage. His golden pupils locked onto Ace, his voice born from the thunder, low and chilling.
"You ants from the Blue Sea... have thoroughly angered God!"
He spread his arms, the drums on his back thundering as golden thunderclouds gathered in a vortex in the sky. The entire sky suddenly darkened, as if doomsday had arrived.
"200 Million Volt: AMARU!!!"
BOOM!!!
Lightning exploded, illuminating the heavens. Enel's body swelled, his flesh, covered in lightning, began to lose its human form, transforming into a pure giant of thunder. Dozens of lightning bolts as thick as celestial pillars wrapped around his body. The golden titan stood a hundred meters tall, cloaked in lightning, its divine might like a prison. His eyes burned like stars, his voice like rolling thunder.
"Before a god, you are not even worthy of being destroyed!"
In that moment, the entire Sky Island seemed on the verge of collapse under his pressure. The sea of clouds roiled, the thunder never ceased, and the air crackled with high-voltage static. Even time itself seemed to stop.
In the distance, Conis was nearly thrown off the platform by the electrical wave. She fell to her knees, her hands clasped over her head. "This is... the real God...?!"
