The scorching sun beat down, and sweat flowed. Ace shattered a training post with one punch and turned to glance at Luffy and Zoro, who had just finished their training and were panting. "Hey, Luffy, Zoro, what do you think that guy Roy is doing right now?"
"Hehe, he's probably stealing rice crackers again," Luffy grinned, his stomach rumbling.
Kuina, who was wiping Wado Ichimonji beside them, said coldly, "Mr. Roy is a Rear Admiral. He wouldn't be as undisciplined as you."
Suddenly, a shout like a clap of thunder rang out. "Hey—!! You guys, look at the news!!"
Law came running, a spread-out newspaper in his hand, a rare look of shock on his face. "Big Brother Roy fought Kaido!"
"Wh-What?!" Everyone exclaimed in unison and immediately gathered around.
Ace snatched the newspaper. "He fought Kaido head-on?! Undefeated?!"
Zoro's pupils constricted, and sweat slid down his forehead. "That's Kaido..."
Luffy looked blank. "Who's Kaido? Is he strong?"
"You idiot!" Zoro and Ace roared in unison.
The longsword in Kuina's hand trembled slightly, but a new fighting spirit ignited in her eyes. "Mr. Roy... he's actually that strong already?"
And on the high platform at the edge of the training ground, a burly figure stood quietly. The military uniform on Zephyr's chest was still crisp. For once, he did not reprimand these students for stopping their training. He was also holding a copy of the same newspaper. He looked at the group of kids who were shocked by the news, a rare smile quietly appearing on his lips. "Now that's more like it... Roy, you really are worthy of being my disciple."

Koala's eyes widened. "That's Kaido! Who is this Roy? He's so strong."

Perospero licked his candy cane. "And he's a 'Teleport Fruit' user. He's free to move, fights and runs... tsk, tsk, fighting him would be a real headache."

"A guy who can fight Kaido head-on and retreat completely... there are only a few of those in the entire sea." He paused and turned to look at Shanks. "But you know his strength better than anyone, don't you?"
Shanks was silent, the newspaper in his hand crumpled without a sound.
Yasopp, at the side, suddenly rubbed his forehead and gave a rare, wry smile. "Remember when we first met him in the East Blue?... Damn, how old was he then?"
"I remember," Lucky Roux said, chewing on a piece of meat. "That time you were slapped into the sea by him, and I was the one who fished you out."
"Shut up..." Yasopp covered his face, as if remembering the scene of being sent flying by Roy's slap years ago, and shivered. "Luckily, he hadn't grown to this extent when he hit me back then..."

Jozu frowned, as if trying hard to remember. "Roy..."
"I've heard that name recently in the New World..." Vista sighed. "The monsters coming out of the Marines these days are getting more and more ruthless."
Whitebeard suddenly slammed his longsword down and said in a low voice, "Gurararara... no matter who this kid is, we are not afraid."
"The new era is coming."
"Pops is the strongest man in the world."
The crowd cheered.
New World, Marine G-1 Branch Port
The wind howled, and the waves crashed against the embankment. The after-effects of the battle had not yet completely dissipated, but the wails on the warship were no more. All the injured soldiers were being treated and were stable.
At this moment, Roy stood quietly on the high wall of the G-1 branch, his figure tall and straight, facing the deep sea. Beside him, Gion had already had her injuries treated by him with "Teleport: Surgery." Her Konpira was slung across her back, and although there was still a hint of fear in her eyes, there was more respect. She turned her head to look at Roy, a slight curve on her lips as she teased, "Little brother Roy, you're famous now. The whole New World is talking about you."
