Everything happened in the blur of a second. I think I even passed out at some point because I couldn't quite remember everything that happened.
The bag was finally yanked off my head and my eyelids fluttered from the sudden burst of light penetrating my eyes.
I looked around me and when I realized where I was, my blood ran cold. I was at the Thornvalle's condo, strapped to a chair with ropes. Kayden stood in front of me and leaned down to meet my gaze. The devious smirk on his face sent chills down my spine.
"What am I doing here?" my voice came out croaked. "Did you drug me?"
He shrugged like this was no big deal to him. "Maybe, maybe not."
Anger and panic surged through me as I shook in the chair, but the ropes were too tight, that I could feel it halting my blood flow from going to certain parts of my body.
"This is kidnapping! You bastard!" I yelled.
