[Fae Eyes]
[A golden slot coin]
[Skill is too weak to comprehend the coin]
[You are advised to level up the skill]
Fai had activated his skill , and as usual, it provided him with information about what he was looking at.
However, for the very first time, the system was not able to have complete access to the information.
It was as if the information was too high-grade, too intricately coded, to the point that the system was even advising him to level up the skill.
'This... is a first,' Fai mused, a flicker of excitement in his eyes.
'Does this mean that this coin is even of a higher grade than this pendant?' Fai asked himself, feeling a surge of curiosity, as he too was genuinely unsure of its true value.
'If so, then it's something I need to keep dearly,' he thought, his hand unconsciously clenching around the coin.
He then subtly activated the system and placed the coin securely in his storage.
But to maintain the illusion, he still had to put his hand in his pocket and act as if he had simply tucked it away there, ensuring the others wouldn't suspect a thing about his unique abilities.
In the end, his system had to remain a secret.
'But that makes me think, how do i even level up the skill?' Fai thought.
The skill didn't have an exp bar, and the system didn't even give him any hints on how he was to go on about it.
It's was almost like the system wanted him to find out by himself how to level it up.
Not wanting to waste time on the matter he pushed it to the back of his mind, for the moment it wasn't important, the acessment was.
Maybe after making it through the acessment he would think more about it, and he would even have free time to do so.
With that, he then moved towards the others, a confident stride in his step.
As he was moving towards the others , from the corner of his eyes, he could see someone rapidly approach him, a blur of motion.
He couldn't do anything to stop the person; they were simply too fast, faster than Fai could possibly react to in that moment.
The person then threw their arms boisterously over his neck and dragged him closer, with a surge of friendly energy.
Then the person began to playfully brush his hair in a friendly manner, intentionally making it messy.
"I knew you'd make it!" Johnson exclaimed, his voice booming with unbridled joy, a big, genuine smile stretching across his face.
"But I gotta admit, though, for a moment I thought you weren't going to make it, you know, due to the fact that you're still..." Johnson trailed off, his gaze dropping to Fai's wrist, where the watch could still be seen glowing a vibrant red, a stark contrast to the green color everyone else now had on their hand.
Johnson was well aware that Fai hadn't taken the pill the military had offered them, and he had been genuinely worried that Fai wouldn't pass the test.
For one, the strongest humans weren't able to surpass the hit points of twenty, and to pass the first stage, one had to achieve a hit point of above thirty, which was already more than what a strong normal human could produce.
But Johnson was sure of one thing: the fact that Fai had refused the pill from the military meant he had to be confident in his own inherent strength, even if he was surrounded by a large number of mutated humans.
"Yeah, I know, right? Me too, I can't believe I made it," Fai said, a touch of wonder in his voice as he too looked at the persistent red glow from his watch and remembered how miraculously he had performed. It felt like a dream.

Deep within the group of students who had made it through the first stage of the assessment, five students could be seen, all looking towards the direction of a specific individual..... Fai.
"I thought you said you had someone out there that would do the job?" one of the students said, a young man with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. It was Kael, his voice laced with annoyance.
"Yes , I paid one of the military personnel out there to do the job," another replied, a defensive tone in his voice.
"If what you say is true, then how did he even manage to pass the first stage when he's not even a mutant!" Kael retorted angrily, pointing out the obvious.
Among this menacing group, the teenager on the right was noticeably the tallest. He was so tall, in fact, that in many situations, he might even be considered an adult.
He possessed sleek, gray hair, perfectly combed into two distinct directions, creating an obvious, sharp line through the top middle part of his head. This was Leo.
Standing next to him was someone obviously shorter, with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes.
He had a fine, face that masked his crime nature . The other two in the group seemed to be twins, a boy and a girl.
The two looked eerily identical, from their sharp facial features to their body shape .
"That, I have no idea," Leo began, a slight frown creasing his brow,
"but I can assure you one thing, I did my part"
" If there is someone to be blamed, it would be the person the task was initially given to, it would be the military personnel. "
He paused, then continued with a speculative tone,
"But if I'm to take a guess, perhaps he had mistaken him for someone else. Also, the fact that Fai now has both eyes back, and his hair color some how changed from brown to dark hair, it doesn't even match the description I gave him. Honestly, if it wasn't for the name tag on his shirt, I wouldn't have known it was him."
Leo said, his gaze fixed on Fai.
