Adam never expected that moment of silence to be anything but the threshold of something terrifying — something older than Nemora itself. As he stood in the center of the stone temple, its walls bleeding violet light, a cry erupted… but it was not human.
The cry was like a mechanical roar, charged with memories — lost voices from another time. Everyone who heard it collapsed, as though memory itself had shattered inside them.
Zira was the first to fall to her knees, clutching her ears and screaming:
"This sound… it's trying to pull something out of us! Adam… it's summoning my childhood… my *true* childhood!!"
Adam ran to her, but his steps faltered. The ground beneath him began to melt — not physically, but within his mind. Memories were fading, and new ones were being pumped into his head, memories he had never lived!
He saw himself in a strange place, sitting with a blind woman whose face he could not see, whispering to him:
*"You are the one who remained. The rest are nothing but broken mirrors."*
He jolted awake. He was no longer in the temple, but in his grandmother's graveyard… and in his hand was a wilted red rose, while his grandmother's pendant pulsed against his neck.
But his body was not the same. His veins glowed from within with a dark blue light, and his heartbeat had become erratic.
Suddenly, another voice split the silence. It was *Labobo*, more terrifying than ever before:
"The veil is torn, Adam… the veil that once shielded the original memory. What has been summoned is not just the past… but the buried truth. And you are its key."
He pointed to the sky, where glass-like cracks spread across the heavens, as if the world itself was breaking from within.
Another voice thundered from above:
"Whoever dares strip the mask from Nemora will lose their own identity first!"
Zira clutched Adam's hand and cried:
"Listen to me… I remembered something… I… I am not only of Nemora… I was there, at your first birth…"
Before she could finish, a black wave burst from the sky, as though to drag everyone on earth away.
Adam screamed, but no sound came, for the wave entered him. It did not merge with him — it took something from him. Something he could never reclaim.
From the distance, Labobo roared:
"The upheaval has begun… and when the memory of the Seven Guardians shatters, the First Keeper will be born!"

*"In some moments, you do not choose between good and evil… but between truth and madness."*
