"Then can I ask you something?" He asked and she nodded as she sniffled back her tears. "Are you behind the state Alisha is in now?"
Katherine choked on her saliva, tears welling in her eyes even before she could stop herself.
"What?"
Nathan's face darkened. "Are you the one behind the state Alisha is in now?" He repeated, each word slow and firm.
He'd seen Alisha and Dante in the lobby while walking in. She looked like she'd been beaten up by someone and was barely managing to hold up.
He wondered who it could be until his mind drifted off to Katherine.
Alisha had informed her that in a week, she would be attacked by Katherine as her form of revenge for uploading her pictures while being intimate with a strange man.
He thought she was bluffing. He believed Katherine wasn't that evil. She had her own shortcomings, but he didn't think Katherine would be evil enough to have someone do such a thing to Alisha.
