Alisha stepped back when she realized Mylo was about to hang up on the call. However, when she turned to leave, her head hit a hard object.
"Were you eavesdropping on Mylo just a second ago?" She heard Dante ask.
Alisha rubbed her forehead in pain, half wondering just how much Dante worked out as she stared hard through his suit, and half wondering how he was able to sneak up on her once again without her hearing his footsteps.
This was the third time and she wasn't even able to catch even the lightest noise. It pissed her off.
"Oh really now?" Mylo asked, putting his phone in his pocket as he gave her a scrutinizing look.
"I was looking for Dante, but didn't know where he went with your father. Everyone was suddenly gone so I decided to come out here only for me to hear your voice, speaking to someone on the phone," she explained calmly. Besides, there wasn't anything new she'd discovered from Mylo's call to whoever he was speaking with.
